You can add addresses one at a time, or you can import them from text files. A received message with "Add" in the subject automatically adds that address to the address list. A received message with "Unsubscribe" or "Remove" as the subject, automatically removes the address. Housekeeping tools are included for deleting duplicate and bad addresses and for verifying domain names. Bounced messages (messages returned with an error, like unknown host, unknown user, etc.) are processed automatically.

Messages may go out as originals (one at a time) or as blind carbons (fast send), and can be sent as text only, or text and HTML. You have the option of delaying the start time for the send (so you can send messages in the middle of the night) and setting a pause between messages (so you don't overrun your SMTP server). This software seems to be great but I WILL RETURN IT BACK TO AMAZONE.COM! You might ask why? the answer is so simple ! I cannot use this software since non of my ISP support SMTP server address (YOU NEED SERVER SETUP-You cannot use it as any other software on your computer) and what makes me feel bad that this basic requirement was not explained in product information and system requirement @ Amazone.com If you want to buy this product double check with your ISP and server administrator before you order it. ... Specialization might be for ants, but sometimes it's just the best way to get things done.Eudora E-mail 5.0 doesn't have Microsoft Outlook's personal information management orNetscape's Web integration, but it blows away these e-mail systems by almost any criterion.Users who have a little RAM to burn (most will want to run a PIM, browser, and an e-mailclient simultaneously) will find Eudora much more powerful than its competitors.

Eudora allows users to import addresses and messages from practically any e-mail clientavailable, set up as many filters and redirections as necessary, and file messages byusing the program's intuitive interface. Most options are easy to find and alter; and,although new users will have a bit of a struggle before they get the hang of it, theyshould find themselves experts soon enough.

Two powerful sharing features strengthen Eudora's appeal further. The Eudora SharingProtocol (ESP) creates private folders that can be shared across Mac and Windowsplatforms without a server. This feature alone is reason enough for some users toswitch or upgrade, but the Internet Suite for the Palm will have the handheld setfrothing at the mouth with the new Web browsing and e-mail functions that are addedto Palm-compatible gadgets. Finally, the funny little MoodWatch bot checks incomingand outgoing messages for aggressive language and alerts the user with from one tothree hot peppers.
