Resting atop an accompanying frosted glass base, this unique lamp from Global Connections infuses surrounding air with moisture while simultaneously creating soft lighting effects. A frosted glass bowl comprises the body and carries an etched floral pattern. Finishing with a beaded rim, the bowl measures 12.6 inches in diameter and includes a coordinating lid.

With its 28.8-watt output, the lamp motor sits in the bottom of the bowl, fitting its cord through a designated hole in the back. A 16 color LED light display with accompanying control box offers 10 selections allowing color choice and speed adjustments. For use with or without the lighting functionality, an electronic ultrasound vibration interacts with water to infuse the neighboring air with moisture. In order to safeguard against damage, a water-level sensor automatically turns the power off when levels are low. Just another crappy cool mist humidifier
If you want mold, buy this thing.It uses the worst filter system setup ever and within one day of use (with fan continually running) it stunk up the house with a mildew smell. It went back to the store immediatley! The ionizer is a marketing trick--it is 2 small metal bars that do NOTHING.the unit is bulky, loud and the platic is very light and chessey.RIP OFF.

A few design flaws...
I bought this vaporizer a few weeks ago, and overall I'm pretty happy. It puts out a lot of moisture, and the mist particles are very small (so it doesn't leave droplets on the vaporizer or the wall). There are, however, some design flaws that I wish Honeywell would have considered.

First, the water tank must be removed and flipped upside-down in order to be filled. Due to it's shape, it cannot be rested on a counter or inside a sink. You have to hold it to fill it. And if you've ever tried carrying three gallons of milk, you'll realize that it's pretty unwieldy. They should have either made the top flat so that you can set it down to fill it, or they should have put a spout at the top so that you can fill it without having to remove it from the base.

Second, the vents on the fan are angled such that it directs the moisture away from the direction of the front of the vaporizer. That is, if the front of the vaporizer is facing the center of the room, all of the moisture is sprayed at the wall behind it. Where is the logic in that?

Finally, the humidity setting knob doesn't seem to do much.I thought this knob allowed me to choose a desired humidity setting and the machine would produce that level, turn itself off, and then turn itself back on if the humidity fell below that level.Maybe it's just mine, but the knob doesn't even line up with the settings and it only controls how much water is used, it doesn't regulate humidity.

Love It
I just got this humidifier for my dorm room and absolutly love it.For the first time today I woke up without a headache or runny nose.The tank is easy to fill and it is easy to clean.I do agree that the third setting is a little loud but I am used to sleeping with a fan on so it did not bother me.I keep mine on the medium setting.I would reccommend this product to anyone.

Works well........
I bought this humidifier about 3 months ago, and I've been very happy with it so far.The only complaint that I have is that after a couple of months of using it the filter needed to be replaced (it had dog hair and what appeared to be mold on it).This in and of itself wouldn't have been a problem if I could have found a filter.I finally found one online (on Amazon actually), and just ordered it, so now I'm completely happy.On the up-side, I've had no problems with the carpet getting wet, etc.It works very well, and I like the fact that there are 3 speeds, an ionizer, a nightlight, and adjustable humidity control.Aside from the filter hassle (it takes an HAC-504 replacement filter fyi), I've been very happy with it and plan to get another one to bring into the office with me. ...
