Not a single good disk
I bought several hundred Memorex 4x DVD+Rs over the past year and they worked fine. I went to re-order and Amazon was out, so I bought the Memorex 8x DVD+R instead.

PURE JUNK !!!

I've tried over a dozen and haven't gotten a single usable disk yet. I've used at least 5 different computers with 8x or higher burners. A total waste of money.

WARNING MEMOREX DVDS HAVE NO LASTING LIFE
I had no problems burning to these discs, its when I went back a few months later to these discs and found out that none of them work anymore. After further research I found out that Memorex uses the cheapest dye available and thus the DVDs have absolutelly no life to them, my discs started dying after a few months.
In addition, in you physically hold the disc in your hands you can feel how warped physically it has become. This is true for all the discs (about 150 of them). I CAN NOT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT STRONLY ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Read more

I have used many brands of CD-Rs to make mixes for my car.I have a Honda Accord with the factory CD player.I have only experienced problems with the very cheapest of media.

My expectations were high for this product.I thought it would be fun to have some designs on the media.They are from a good manufacturer as well.

Good CDs
I bought a 10 pack of these CDs. I've found that they not only look cool but they work well too. I have only used 5 of them so far but they all burned on my Phillips CD Burner without a problem. I would definately consider getting another pack of these.

These CD's are TERRIBLE
These CD's are TERRIBLE and I hate them. They don't work well at all for scratching on turntables, but they should since they are vinyl.

dual action!
these nifty retro-looking 700MB CD-R's are fickle little buggers. they copied fine on my HP burner (YAY!), but my Compaq burner spit'em back out like so many lukewarm Christians. fortunately, the record-like grooves could not have been more perfectly designed for capturing the condensation of cold drinks. yes sir, these CD-R's will either provide you with 80 minutes of sweet, sweet sound, or will save your furniture from unsightly rings. either way you can't lose!

I bought a 10-pack of these discs on sale at a local store...and when i used the discs on my yamaha cdr drive which is the cdw-f1 drvie with amazing results. combined with the advanced audio mastering mode of this drive which produces audiophile-quailty discs from your own cd's or wav files. (better quailty is possible then from your standard cd's you buy in the store).So the discs are just amazing and on top of that with the drives abilty to read very damaged audio cd's with its error correction i have to abilty to copy the cd's i thought i was going to have to replace in the stroes. and of course as you may figure, some of these cd's are no longer made and very hard to find.I think i have said enough for anybody to justify purchasing any of these products i have mentioned ... I love KHypermedia CDRs. I burn a lot of CDs to give out to my classes. I have used this brand in my computer CD burner and in my freestanding CD burner and they burn fabulously in either unit. 74 min./650 MB media has a definate place
Do you have a cd player that won't play your burned discs?Many older players can't handle an 80 min./700 MB CD.In many cases the 74 min./650 MB media comes to the rescue.Since it follows the standard of the original CD, the older player accepts it.

Some might respond that any player that can't play the newer CD's is too old and should be cheap to replace.Unfortunately my Honda Civic CD player (circa 1998) is neither, and it won't play anything but 74 min./650 MB CDs burned at 4x.It isn't worth the few dollars saved for the more expensive media or the 6 minutes playtime (which commercially pressed CD's don't use anyway) to upgrade.

What's the point of 74 minute/650mb Cd-rs??
In my opinion there is basically no point in buying this product.You could get a 100 pack of Memorex 80min/700mb on this site for a lower price.The Memorex's are of equal quality to these so I recommend them unless you have a ton of money and like 74 minute cds for some reason.

TDK 74mb/80 min. My MAIN source of burning media.
I saw a photo of this on amazon, so I couldn't resist. It's EXACTLY what is on my headboard on my bed in my room right now. I don't do too much burning any more, but for what I do use it for, I use these discs. I've used about 1/3 of the spindle, and they have not failed me yet. These are also BLUE-bottomed discs...which are the best in my opinion. They are heavily scratch resistant, and they look cool and bring you back to the days of only 4x media. I've used other TDK products in the past, and I expect the rest of the spindle to be no different. TDK stands alone as one of digital media's best sources for quality sound and trustworthy media.
