I thought these were of good quality
I have to confess the whole concept of burning cds is new to me. I recently got a new computer and I have been burning cds left to right. The first batch of blank cds I bought were the Imation Corp CDRWUltra Speed 74 Min. From my personal experience, I have not had any problems with this brand of rewritable cds. All the cds that I had burned (which is like over a dozen now) have ended up sounding good. Some of the cds that I have made I listen to over and over again. No matter how often I listen to the burned cds I made still sounds good.

BEWARE_-_- These cd-rw's are of low quality.
I purchased a 10 pak of these identical cd-rw's and about everyone of them are either corrupt or have errors and are no longer of any useI.E cyclic redundancy errors...Take my advice and stay away from this blank media..they are of poor quality ..didnt even last one month...spend the extra few dollars for the higher quality media...I promise you ...you dont want to use these cd-rw's to do ANY kind of backing -up of your pc or anything else...cuz if you do use these to back up your pc (like I did ) you might as well start re-formatting and installing Windows now.....BEWARE_-_-_- ... Works fine.
I bought the 10-pack and they all seem to work fine.The jewel cases don't shut very well.

dirt cheap and works like a charm
i have a plextor 12x-10x-32x and all the discs work at 10x rewrite. I will stock more the next time I order something from amazon.

Not backward compatible.
These discs cannot be formatted by my 8x Dell (Sony) CD_RW drive. I bought thirty and had to return them all. The manufacturer claims "backward compatibility" but they misspeak.

well, i wont repeat so these are great if you cdrw had the logo "high speed" if so you can record at a super 10x and erase i have a yamaha2100ez and its super with it just plug and burn

Don't buy These
The reason I purchased the product was because of it's 10x capability my Plextor drive has.Well I have opened 6 cd's and 2 of them worked properly, 3 didn't work at all, and 1 took data, but won't erase.I would like to send the sob's back to TAIWAN where they came from. ... Read more

Keep an eye on CD-R prices
I've used the Khypermedia CD-R's for data, photo, and music storage --without any problems.

However, 50- and 100-packs of CD-R's are frequently on sale or available with [promotional offers]. Any major manufacturer will satisfy most CD-R needs.

Very Good Cdrws
Good overall except it's hard to write anything on. the grid on the discs are not straigh lined (semi circle) so it makes the disc look not too neat once you write something on. i have burned 10+ discs(Audio&Data) and everyone of them is flawlessly done. very satisfied.

Khypermedia CD-RW
Works fine. I have used these under Win98, WinNT, Win2000 and FreeBSD UNIX. They worked just like a CD-RW should work. No problems here.

Impressed at the quality
Upon reading other reviews, I was unsure of the quality of these CDRWs. I am very impressed with their quality, and they are great with Easy CD Creator 4. My favorite use for them is for internet downloads, and you can store MANY internet downloads on these CDRWs. They really hold a lot, and they free up your hard drive because they store so much data. If you accidentally record something you do not want, you can erase it easily. You cannot erase CDRs, so I recommend CDRWs instead. They do not work with my new Gpx portable Cd player, but that only means that it won't work with ANY CDRWs. They are great, though if you go to Napster a lot because you are able to store about 25-30 songs on each CD (or 74 minutes time).

Cheap, affordable, easy, quick!
For [the price], you can't go wrong with these.I've never heard of the company before, but that didn't stop me; and I'm glad it didn't.I use these CDRWs for backing up files and for testing CD image burns before I do them to a CDR.I've yet to have a bad write using EZ CD Pro, EZ CD Creator, and CDRWIN.For whatever reason you may need these for, they'll probably do the trick for less.Some people complain about not being able to use them except for on a computer--that's not entirely the case.Most CD players built after 1997 should be able to read CDRW, if not its still unlikely to be the disc's fault; if your player can't read these, it probably can't read any CDRWs.Has something to do with laser intensity I think, but that's not the point.Get these if you need CDRWs and you won't be sorry.

Only two of ten good
I could format only two of the ten discs with CD-RW that came with new Dell computer. Adaptec Direct CD Wizard regarded them as bad discs and would not format. Other brands I got at store did format ok.

4X THE DISSAPOINTMENT
THESE CDRWS ARE GOOD QUALITY, DON'T GET ME WRONG. I JUST DID'NT KNOW THAT THE CDS, ONCE BURNED, WOULD ONLY PLAY ON COMPUTER RELATED EQUIPMENT. YOU CAN'T PLAY MUSIC ON STEREOS AND SUCH. BUT, IF YOU GOT THEM FOR DATA ANDMUSIC TO BE PLAYED AND USED SOLELY ON COMPS, THEN ITS A GOOD BUY.

High-quality, low-cost media
I'd never heard of CMC Magnetics but figured I'd order the discs because they're a great price.I love them; they're all I wanted from CD-RWs.

The discs come in a bulk pack and are individually wrapped injewel cases.After you open them, the recording surface (the side that'sslightly green) is in the place the label normally is on a disc--presumablyto prevent damage from exposure to sunlight.

I use them in my HP 8250iCD-Writer Plus and have had no problems on any of the 10 discs.I use somefor system backups, some for removable storage, and one for audio (which*does* work on a computer CD-RW drive).I have never had a single errorwriting at full 4x speed on them.Using CDs as removable discs (withAdaptec DirectCD or a similar program) is faster, cheaper, and much moreconvenient than using floppies.

Overall recommendation: If you have aCD-RW drive, do yourself a favor and buy some of these discs.You can'tbeat the price, and you'll find uses for all of them. ... Read more

:-( Only Works on DD Burners!! )-:
When I saw this, I thought it would be a great way to increase my MP3 CD player's capacity, as well as a great backup disk.

However, when it arrived, I noticed the case said "Designed for optimum performance in Double Density (DD) CD-RW Writer and CD-ROM drive." This means that you need a special DD CD burner to use this. This site never mentioned this!! It is only after I have spent my money on this that I found out that what I bought was an ugly coaster and a spare jewel case. I put it in my normal CD burner, and it would not even recognize it as a CDRW.

Why the hell don't they say this in the product description??

Heed my warning; do not by this unless you have a DD burner!

P.S. Who has ever heard of a Double Density Burner?? Must be yet another one of Sony's failed products that they're still trying to sell! (Remember the Mini Disc, they still make them!!)

Double the space, double the fun!
Sony's double density CD-RWs are great. They cost a little more, but you get twice the space. I happen to like the regular size jewel cases much more than the slim cases (and I absolutely despise (this is some-what hyperbolic, I suppose) CD-RWs that come stacked without their cases), so these have that added bonus. Unfortunately, my computer won't handle recording speed of any faster than 8X, so the 12X that someone reccommended instead of these wouldn't do me much good.
