Good Entry Level PDA
This PDA is a great entry level model, but it lacks many of the features of higher priced models. It's a great replacement for a paper planner, but don't purchase this model if you're looking to play games (which may be a good thing if you're purchasing it for a student, like me).

First PDA
If you are tired of having a huge planner, buying replacement pages, and buying pens or pencils, this is the PDA for you. I bought one to replace my worn out monthly planner book.
I LOVE it !!!!It does everything my day planner book did, but much better, smaller, lighter and more fun to use. And you can play some games on them besides. I have checkers,roulette, video poker, Tic-tac-toe, even got my resume on it, and my addresses and phone numbers. The alarm is cool also.

Excellent Product
This little Pocket PC is a handheld wonder! I've never used one of these before -- but it was easy to hook up to my desktop and I was able to adapt to it immediately.I am impressed with this product.If you're in the market for a pocket PC, this is my definite recommendation!

Value & performance/1 less star for service
More than good value for money. Well made unit with all you could need to start using a PDA including cradle support software and easy access to development tools. However, I feel slightly cornered into being restricted to the MS platform. It would be great if they opened the architecture of the device to ease developers and users wanting to utilize Linux etc. Also their support is slightly lacking. I bought my unit a couple months ago and it was supplied with win 2002, yet 2003 has been out considerably longer than a couple of months. Not as useful as I had expected
An ardent oenophile (what an elderly friend of mine playfully calls a dedicated wino) with a newly purchased PDA, my discovery of this program in a Wine Enthusiast catalog conjuredexpactations of mountains of reviews at my fingertips. I also expected to be able to organize my own collection and record my impressions of wines I had drunk, as well as any notes and recommendations from others for wines I might like to try in the future. While, in all honesty, this program does this, it doesn't do it as well or as smoothly as I had expected.

Take for instance the reviews section. A surprising number of the listed wines carry only a breif description but no review. (Piedmontese wine lovers beware - the objects of your affection are sorely under-represented and even if listed are rarely reviewed.)

The cellar inventory aspect in good but not great. The autotext completion features that save one having to write "Bordeaux" one hundred times or that fill in appelation names from the first few letters lack many names that would be expected in a program such as this.

Perhaps most distressing is that Bordeaux wines are startlingly under-represented in the review section. Many premier chateau are not cited at all.

Am I being a bit too demanding of a $... program? Perhaps. Nevertheless, I was a bit less than satisfied with the program. Were it possible to return software programs, I suspect I would. Alas, such things are not allowed. I am left with it to make of it what I can. ... Read more

For the gadget geek in all of us
No one is a bigger gadget geek then me.I love innovated products and rather have a gadget over diamonds any day.With that said, I fell in love instantly when I saw the Casio's Pocket PC with the Camera attachment at a business meeting.From the moment I purchases my own (in 2000) I knew I would find multiple uses for my new toy.

I will be completely honest; this device does not take the greatest pictures in the world!HOWEVER, this camera has been a lifesaver on many occasions. I have met stars unexpectedly and taken pictures with them, stored pictures of my home to compare items in the store, endless job related purposes. It also came with video caption software and you can take 30 seconds of video and transfers it to your device and link up to your computer. Especially living in New York City, you just don't know what you're going to see! You can also transfer pictures from your pc to the handheld to cherish your favorite pictures on your mobile device.My only complaint is you have to have good lighting and you have to be completely still you get a decent photo. As for printing the pictures, the smaller you print the pictures the better the print.I never excess 4 x 6 prints and usually print 3 x 5.

This camera is for someone you love gadgets, loves pictures, and just loves to show off.No matter where I go people (including stars) always seem to be impressed with this device.Most important I'm impressed and I look forwarded for Casio to create one with better resolution. I purchase this about two years ago and I'm still happy with it. The price has dropped from when I obtained mine so that's even more reason to get this. Sometimes you don't have room in your bags or briefcase for a separate camera, and with device your camera is where your handheld pc is!

NOTE: Keep in mind if you need a digital camera then this is not for you the resolution is too low. Strictly for the gadget geeks.

Dazzling
I give it 5/5 starts for the following reasons:

1) User friendly, not complicated at all.
2) One of the lightest cameras doesn't add weight to your device.
3) Excellent quality, it is Casio ;)
4) Flexible, it can be rotated in different positions with focus.
5) Price! Because I got 50% OFF ;)
6) It supports Siemens SX45, and I am using it.

Nifty but poor picture quality
Very cool gadget for the Cassiopeia but the picture is indeed rough especially when blown up on a PC.Photo quality is also dim without sunlight.Definitely not for pro or serious photo shoots.Okay for casual image capture.You may have to wait until they come up with higher pixels....

Not A Keeper
Definitely high on the wow factor scale. But after that wears off you realize that you have a very poor quality digital camera. The most critical failing is that the pictures are out of focus much beyond 20 feet or so (i.e., can't focus at infinity). The muddy colors don't help either. Though perhaps tolerable to some on the limited Casio display, when tranferred to the PC the picture quality is intolerable. Even the poorest quality 640 x 480 digital camera shines by comparison. I give it three stars only because it does integrate well with the Cassiopeia and I think the fact it can make mini movies is pretty slick. Nevertheless I returned mine to Casio.

Very small, infinitely convenient
The Casio CompactFlash Digital PDA Camera Attachment has been everything that I had expected it to be.First, I was never expecting the worlds most powerful camera.What the Casio PDA attachment offers is the option tohave a very small camera at your disposal at any time.It weighs nearlynothing and is very small, as you can see from the picture.

Downloadingfrom the camera to the pc has been relatively easy, and the bitmaps aresmaller than with a high end digital camera so they load faster.An addedconvenience for me ( I travel a lot) is that there are no additionalaccessories needed other than the cradle that comes with the Cassiopeia.

The camera does use battery power pretty extensively.However, I didn'treally find a need to have the camera in use for any considerable length oftime.Usually only about 10 seconds and then I had my picture, so I didn'treally notice a great impact.

The pictures are good, with all digitalcameras, the color LCD is a little lacking, but still really not bad.

One nice feature is that the camera swivels.You can view the pictureyou are trying to take if it is front of you, or if it IS you.(also anyangle in between) ... Read more

The computer makes an interesting opponent
Very enjoyable, so long as you understand that the computer opponent plays differently than a typical human opponent.Even when you set the opponent's level to "Novice", it will frequently come up with obscure words like "xu", "jiao", "tyee" or "aioli".It's also better that most casual players at finding places to create multi-word combinations.It knows that a well-placed 2- or 3-letter word will often score higher than a larger word somewhere else.But it's still beatable and fun, and it will probably help make you a better player.

Scrabble Dictionary Needs Improvement
I was very happy with the Palm OS Scrabble game until I discovered that MANY words were not included in the game's dictionary.
Often, words were not cross-checked, so that a word, acceptable for the palm, when made plural, would be counted as wrong for the non-Palm player, even though it was correct in a regular dictionary (e.g. daydream/daydreams.) I also found that a word would be considered right for the Palm, but wrong for the player.This was frustrating and discouraged further play.
I would love to see an expanded and accurate dictionary created soon.

NOT for Win 95/95/XP/2000
This is ONLY for the Palm OS. In some places, it says WIn 95/98/etc. Well, it's NOT!

USELESS

Great, but not OWL
I think this game is great and the implementation on PalmOS PDA is fantastic. Not only is the color usage great, but fitting everything onto a small pixel screen is amazing. I never feel that it is too small, though.

My only complaint is the dictionary. It does not use OWL (Official Tournament and Club Word List) but some version of OSW (Official Scrabble Words) or OSPD (Official Scrabble Players Dictionary), the combination of which is usually called SOWPODS. Grrrr. So, on some words that I know are words accepted in professional play, I end up hitting "accept word" after I get the popup saying it is not a word. [edit: Turns out to be OSPD, which is still quite limiting]

The latest version has the definitions, but I don't care for that. Many people will, though, and it is a great feature. I either know the definition or don't care, but I do not have the memory space in my PDA with all my other applications. Perhaps when I upgrade my PDA I will add in the defintions.

Complaints aside, this is a great implementation of a great game and have it on my PDA. You should, too. Definitely a five-star game.

Very Addictive!
I just love spending hours playing these games.The only downside is that I like to play superfast and Spades seems a little slower than Hearts.

In response to the other reviews, if they had bothered to read the system requirements, they would have seen only Palms and Palm OS, no PC's or MAc's.

Don't buy it for your Mac
I had the same experience as the previous reviewer.The game only works for handheld devices, a fact which is not stated in the Amazon listing.Buyer beware!
