    Amazon.com Product Description

Compact enough for personal computing or kitchen viewing and good enough for use in small-scale home theaters, Sharp's 26-inch LC-32GD4U Advanced Super View LCD television is picture-frame thin yet still houses both standard NTSC and digital ATSC (HDTV) tuners, as well as all necessary inputs and output jacks, so there's no need for supplementary connection or DTV receiver boxes; the 1,366 x 768-resolution television is ready to go right out of its box.

A member of Sharp's stylish AQUOS line, the LC-32GD4U offers a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio to match your favorite movies, and compatibility with high-definition video sources up to 1080i. The set includes 2 detachable, high-aperture aluminum speakers powered by 10 watts per channel. At just 4 inches deep without its detachable stand, the set is as unobtrusive as a big-screen TV can get, and it's versatile enough to handle wall or table placement.

A handy PC Card slot lets you record still images and video on a PC Card and view them on the TV, and Sharp's proprietary Quick Shoot video circuit ensures a lightning-quick response time of less than 16 ms for smooth-as-silk video and gaming graphics. The set's authorized CableCARD ability means the set will also receive digital cable television systems services directly from the cable operator without requiring a bulky, external cable box.

LCD screens offer a number of benefits over CRT monitors and televisions, including general ease of use, freedom from eye strain (no screen flickering or radiation emissions), quiet operation (no high-pitch "flyback" noise, an issue with CRT TVs), accurate image geometry (no curvature distortion or susceptibility to magnetic interference from, say, speakers), long screen life (no risk of image burn-in), space savings, and light weight/easy positioning. They also tend to be cheaper and, to some eyes, slightly more natural looking than their plasma flat-panel counterparts, which usually "spec" higher (higher brightness, higher contrast ratio).

The LC-32GD4U's Advanced Super View/black TFT (thin-film-transistor) screen offers exceptionally wide (170- by 170-degree) viewing angles and an extraordinary contrast ratio of 800:1 for super-black blacks. Its high brightness (450 cd/m2) ensures wide dynamic range for vivid colors, great depth, and realism. You can place it anywhere--near windows, doors, or other light sources--and its picture will remain vivid. And, with its 60,000-hour lamp life, the backlight life is long enough to give you viewing pleasure for many years.

Connections consist of 2 high-definition component-video inputs, 1 DVI-I (Digital Visual Interface-Integrated) input, 1 HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) input, 3 composite-video inputs, 1 S-video input, and 1 RF input (HDTV reception may require an antenna). An audio/video output (composite- and S-video with stereo analog audio) facilitates hookup with a surround receiver, DVR, VCR, or other destination.

DVI-I is a direct-digital DVI terminal capable of transmitting both analog and digital video data. HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to link any audio/video source (such as a set-top box, DVD player, or AV receiver) with your TV or monitor. HDMI supports standard-definition (SD), enhanced definition (ED), or high-definition (HD) video, plus multi-channel digital audio--all using a single cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports up to 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Value!
I love my Epson Powerlite S1. I use it regularly for PowerPoint presentations in office settings and as a big screen TV in our home theatre.

For PowerPoint it does a tremendous job, providing clean, crisp images. For home theatre the room can't be too bright in order to see all of the detail, but that's a small concession to make for a projector that offers ease of use, very good quality, affordable replacement bulb price, and enough power to get the job done - all for under $1000. Very tough to beat this deal!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome projector for the price.
I saw a review about this projector about a year ago on a tv show called screen savers, which airs on tecTv.They gave it a good review so i gave it a try,AN LOVED IT.I only bought it to watch dvd's on an it works perfect for that.I have a huge wall in one room of our house an simply painted the wall white an use it as the screen.A 20 foot screen no less. It's the ultimate hometheater, just add your surround sound an boom.No reason to ever leave your house for the movies again.Yes the lights do need to be low,or in my case i like it dark. But its got a great picture an more then worth the price. We've had nothing but fun with it ever since i bought. Its the perfect projector for those on a buget or for anyone that just dos'nt like to waste a lot of money on something like watching movies..............

4-0 out of 5 stars Good projector!
I purchased this projector two weeks ago and I am very pleased with it.When I connect it to my computer the image is very bright and I do not need to darken the room much at all to view it.The room needs to be a bit darker when viewing TV or DVD/VHS movies. My son uses it to play GameCube games--which is really fantastic because of the size of the image! However, for some of the games (Lord of the Rings) we really need to darken the room to see the screen well.

I have used LCD projectors for the past five years in educational settings. This is the first one I have purchased and I am extremely pleased with it.The only negative comment I can make about it is that the zoom feature doesn't change the size of the image by much.I wanted to set the projector on a stand near one wall and project it to the wall on the other side. When I do this the image is bigger than the wall space and I can't change its size by much using the zoom feature.Instead I have to move the projector into the middle of the room and operate it from there.Even with this inconvenience, I still think it is an excellent projector and so far I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see beautiful color images larger than life!

5-0 out of 5 stars I love mine.
How many people do you know who have 100inch tv's and paid less than $1000. I'm guessing not too many. I guess a picky person could find some faults: not as bright as a tv in a well lit room, no manual lens zoom, makes more noise than a tv. Still I really do love mine. It takes up about 1/100th of the space of a large tv, I can pack it in a backpack if I want to take it to a friend's, I can move apartments without hiring 5 movers to cary it down the stairs, I can play 4 person video games (Mario Kart Double Dash!) and everyone gets their own 50 inch tv, the colors are brilliant, and the price is decent enough.

Go buy one and you won't be unhappy.

5-0 out of 5 stars S1 Hit of the Party
    This is a great product.

We had more than 250 digital photos submitted by our Harley Owners Group members to be used in a continuous-loop slide show during a recent party.

We mounted the S1 in a loft and projected the slide show onto a wall 25 feet away making a huge display of the photos. The S1 was on for more than seven hours, performed flawlessly, projected sharp images, was easy to hook up to a laptop computer (the source of the images). The simple operation of the S1 made set up and adjustments quick.

We later used the S1 in our living room to watch a DVD on a 70-inch movie screen. The projector was hooked into the video-out RCA jack on the DVD player. Total set up time: Less than 3 minutes. Again, flawless operation and extremely good picture.

I'd recommend the S1 to anyone looking for an entry level projector with seemingly solid construction, easy-to-understand controls and great features. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars everything you need, nothing you don't
No built-in speakers, no fancy trim, the 91t is a high-performance display in a quality package -- and just the right size at a sweet-spot price point. This product has everything you need (and should remain compatible with next-gen computers for years to come) and nothing you don't.

The 91t replaces the old 191t which, at its release, offered the narrow most narrow bezel of any LCD monitor. The 91t improves on the 191t with better contrast ratio and a power supply integrated internally (without increasing the size of the housing.

Features include 1280x1024 resolution via VGA and DVI inputs (cables included) switchable from the SOURCE button on the front panel, enabling you to connect and switch between two computers. For desktop publishing, the monitor can be rotated from landscape to portrait mode and comes with software to rotate your desktop to match the monitor's orientation.

The DVI interface is what makes LCD panels worth buying. The difference is truly striking when switching between the two inputs on the 91t (VGA looks blurry compared to DVI at native resolution). For some, it may be necessary to upgrade your video card in order to use the DVI input (a mere $30 upgrade you can do yourself).

The 19" sweet-spot. Think bigger is always better? The 19" flat panel is the ideal size for all work (including CAD and desktop publishing). Unless you work for NASA, Pixar or manipulate huge, detailed CAD dwgs, the 21" flat panel is way too big and does not offer substantially higher resolution.

In the past 4-yrs, Samsung has invested billions in R&D and it is evident in the quality and features of their current "pro-sumer" product line (flat panels and home cinema displays).

1-0 out of 5 stars Avoid at all cost
Don't be fooled by Samsung's reputation - those days are gone. I have been using 152T for more than 2 years and it was excellent. But this model, in particular, is full of problems. I bought one, and had to send it back for replacement (twice), yet each replacement comes with new defects (unbalanced brightness, noisy panel etc). Imagine: 3 defective units in a row (all brand new), does that give you any idea about its manufacturing quality? I ended up with a refurbished unit from Samsung, which is mediocre in quality (the panel is *not* as clear and as bright as a new unit).

If you want to take the risk, go ahead. But I wouldn't recommend it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good, but...
...a slight edge to the Viewsonic VP191, which is selling at about the same price point and is also rotatable (a truly priceless feature!).On the Internet though you can find this Samsung at about a hundred dollars less than the VP191.

During the course of my extensive shopping around, I found that while the Samsung has a higher contrast ratio and higher brightness rating on paper, in reality the Viewsonic appears to be of about the same sharpness, and more importantly is significantly brighter! And yes, I did play with the monitor adjustment buttons of both monitors, the maximum brightness setting on the Samsung is equivalent to about 50% brightness on the Viewsonic.Go figure...is Samsung playing fast and loose with its specs?Or is the screen surface of the Viewsonic somehow "brighter" than that of the Samsung's?I'm not sure, but I am sure of what my eyes saw: Viewsonic offers a better picture.

Otherwise, Samsungs do offer terrific bang for the buck.I have many friends who are quite happy with their Samsungs, and I have an old Samsung 17" CRT which has held up well over a couple years' heavy usage. In short, when you compare Samsung monitors to the really cheap 300 dollar off-brands, in my opinion the extra hundred or so you spend for the Samsung is well worth it for most people's uses.

Both the Samsung and Viewsonic easily beat out the Sony LCDs though, even though the Sonys are usually more expensive. This surprised me because I find their TVs are still top-notch.

2-0 out of 5 stars Serious ghosting issues
I bought this LCD monitor because a number of places have given it excellent reviews.I also had a Samsung 191T, which I really liked. However, I needed to get a new monitor to replace that one, and unfortunately, the 910T does not measure up.The problem here is ghosting, and this is not even when you play games with fast moving images. The ghosting is when you just move the mouse cursor across the screen. The mouse arrow smears, and you see something like a vapor trail of mouse cursors. This is extremely annoying. After some research, most places have said that this ghosting is due to the slow 25ms response time on the 910T.However, I remember that my old 191T had the same response time, and this issue was not noticeable at all.Another thing is that the ghosting issue is better when you use the DVI (or digital) line as opposed to the Analog link. When I use DVI, the mouse cursor still ghosts, but it's not as noticeable and bearable to where I'll keep the monitor. However, I'm still very disappointed because the 191T didn't ghost this much in analog mode. One good point is that the colors look very nice on the monitor probably due to the 1000:1 contrast ratio.Another thing is that every thing looks sharper on DVI.For example, when I'm in Windows explorer, the filenames look blurry in analog, but sharper in digital.I guess the moral of the story is that you better have a DVI port in your video card if you buy this monitor.

5-0 out of 5 stars In portrait all the time
I've had this monitor for a week and I love it.It's attractive, bright, sharp, and relatively inexpensive. It's the purchase I've been happiest with in a long time.I even ordered it with FREE Super Saver Shipping and it arrived two days after I ordered it.I originally thought that I would switch back and forth between the landscape and portrait modes (which is easy to do with the supplied software), but it hasn't left portrait mode since I put it there.Portrait's just better for every application (web browsing, reading PDFs, working in Word, programming...).I guess it's not better for watching movies, but I don't do that on the computer.I highly recommend trying a monitor that can rotate like this.

So far my father and a friend have seen my monitor and both immediately bought it too.(My father also bought it on Amazon with the cheapest shipping and it arrived within two days.)

I can see one bad pixel on mine, but I think that's not uncommon with large LCDs.It only shows up on a black background, not one white, so it's mostly unnoticeable. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Better than sliced bread
In looking for a new monitor I researched and did some hands on investigation of quite a few. I found the VG710 to be a great monitor for the money. It was easy to setup and get working fast. I was impressed with the great resolution and brightness.
The built in speakers work great and it's display time is fast. I have watched one movie and the scenes don't get choppy as with some older/slower LCD monitors.
The only surprise was that the driver on the install CD took a little extra effort to install with Windows XP. I don't know why but Windows says it doesn't have the 'Windows Logo' yet and so gives a few warnings as you install it. I haven't tried the DVI connection yet but hope to soon. My system is an AMD 64 with graphics card so it is probably faster than most. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent CRT for Graphic Design
I'm a graphic artist who uses 2 of these monitors side-by-side, day-in and day-out, 8+ hours a day 5 days a week. I haven't had a single issue with them since I got them new over a year ago.

Both are set at 1280x1024x32 on a 128MB Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 on Windows XP Pro. I have my taskbar along the left side of my left monitor. They are heavy-ish like any CRT monitor but aren't as deep as some 19" monitors. If you took a 19x19x19 inch cube, thats the space you'd need for this monitor.

    A little education for you:
    1. Like all consumer electronic equipment, performance will vary based on your environment. I have 2 identical models that were purchased at the same time, and even then I must use professional color calibration hardware and software to get accurate. By default they don't match. That's normal.
    2. "Viewable" area IS 18" (diagonal) but that does NOT mean your desktop will fill that whole area unless you adjust the monitor to do so. I've never liked the marketing spin that allows 18" viewable to be called 19" monitors due to some technicality. Like 0-60 times on automobiles, it may be fact though it may not equal real world practicality. LCDs win it that respect; 19" on the box equals 19" viewable.

At work, color reproduction is more important than monitor size. So since good CRT monitors are more color true (very important for designing print projects) than LCD monitors, these monitors fit the bill. (I do use a single 19" LCD at home.)

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Monitor
While, as other people have noted, this is not truly a "flat" screen monitor, in the most rigid sense of the word, it is indeed an excellent monitor that I am most pleased with. The refresh rate offered at the resolution of 1600 x 1200 appears to not flicker at all, and the color I see while playing video games (Battlefield: Vietnam; Farcry) is absolutely astonishing.

The only disappointment to this monitor, as I'm sure you've read already, is the fact that it is not as flat as an LCD screen.Don't let that discourage you from purchasing this, though, as it is an incredible monitor.I have not seen better color and performance from any other monitor in the nearby price range.Let me also assuage your worries by explaining that this is indeed a 19" monitor, with what appears to be exactly 18" of viewable screen.

I do not regret my purchase at all, and don't expect to upgrade my monitor for a long period of time.

4-0 out of 5 stars great picture, no sound
I just got the monitor: great picture, easy setup, no hassles, but no sound. My last NEC monitor had speakers and a headphone jack, so I just assumed (yeah, I know, shame on me) that this would have them too. Wrong! So I ordered some Altec-Lansings, and everything should be jake in a few days, but until then, I miss my tunes at work. So make sure before buying that you realize you're gonna need external speaker with this one.

    5-0 out of 5 stars ViewSonic G90FB-2
I've had this monitor for about a year now and so far it has been operating reliably. At first, you'll have to do some tweaking to get it set up just the way you like it. I set the resolution to 1024X768 and the refresh rate to 100 Hz, which to my eyes makes it totally flicker-free with sharp graphics and fonts just big enough to make text reading easy.

This monitor has very good brightness and contrast. The colors are solid and vivid. It measures approximately 18" deep and the front glass is flat and exactly 18" diagonal. The screen behind the front glass may be curved (like others have noted), but they use some kind of optical trickery to make the net image seem flat. For the most part, it works, but it's NOT perfect. If you want/need a true flat monitor, perhaps an LCD is best for you. However, if price is a consideration, then you may want to try this value packed item. I have no regrets.

2-0 out of 5 stars 19 inch? Maybe I need a new tape mesurer...
While mesuring the space on my desk compaired to the monitor I noticed something wrong. While the information on my order says 19 inch, and the box says 19 inch, this monitor is only 17 inch! And not even 17 viewable (the box and this site both say 18 inch viewable) - it's only 16 inches veiwable. Thinking maybe it was packed wrong, I just the the number on the modle itself - nope it's the same G90FB.

I would love to know what kind of tape mesure they are using, because this is rather misleading. ... Read more

It used to be that you needed a separate machine for each of your needs. Thank goodness that's no longer the case. With multifunction machines like the SCX-4100 from Samsung, you can still get the high-quality results you have come to expect from separate peripherals, while saving both space and money. The SCX-4100 can print, copy, and scan, all in one easy-to-use machine.

The monochrome laser printer has a 600 x 600 dpi resolution, with print times up to 15 ppm. (All reported speeds are maximums. Actual speeds will vary.) The color CIS scanner has a 4,800 x 4,800 dpi maximum enhanced scan resolution (600 dpi optical) and has a 24-bit color depth and a 256-level grayscale. The scannersupports the TWAIN standard and delivers scan times of about 27 seconds (line art). The copy feature allows you to reduce or enlarge your original anywhere from 50% to 200%, while a multi-copy feature lets you print up to 99 copies at a time.

The SCX-4100 has a 250-sheet input capacity and 50-sheet output capacity, and accepts a wide variety of original media, including plain paper, transparencies, envelopes, labels, and stocks (card, thick, thin, bond, preprinted, and colored). Both USB and parallel ports are provided, and a 10,000-page maximum duty cycle is able to handle light-to-medium use environments. The 110 to 240 VAC 50/60 Hz power supply consumes about 300 watts, while noise levels are less than 49 dB during normal operation. Compatible with PC and various Linux operating systems, the SCX-4100 comes backed by a one-year limited warranty.

5-0 out of 5 stars No More Inkjet!
Summary: If you're considering a low-cost laser printer for light to medium work, then look no further. A great alternative to troublesome inkjets.

I have owned many inkjet printers over the years, having moved up from dot matrix in the mid 90's. The problem that I've always had with them is the cost per page, and the mechanical problems that most seem to suffer from after a year or two of use. The cost per page on inkjets can run upwards of $0.25, so I was always acting like Scrooge whenever someone in my family wanted to print anything. Meanwhile, my H.P. Laserjet at work just kept plugging along at a 1/10th the cost ($0.02).

After my latest ink jam in my Epson all-in-one, and a wasted cartridge (and $28 worth of ink) trying to fix it, I decided to see if I could afford a Laserjet. Much to my suprise, there were several lasers in the sub-$200 range. After much investigation here and elsewhere, I decided to go with this Samsung, which was basically the same price of a color inkjet with similar specs. Much cheaper than any H.P. printers with similar specs, and I'm no longer scared of the Samsung name, as the quality of their products is no on par with any other consumer-grade electronics company.

    Pros:
    -Easy setup
    -Nice, simple software
    -Low, low cost per page
    -Good copies
    -Sleep mode after 5 minutes
    -Small footprint

    Cons:
-A bit noisy, even though it doesn't have a fan
-Print quality not quite as good as my $600 work printer :)
-Black and white only (but 95% of my printouts are B&W, so this isn't a big deal)

Don't let the fact that this is a black-and-white printer stop you from considering it. What I've done is to purchase a low-end inkjet for my second computer (printer was basically free after rebate) that I'll use on those rare occasions that I need to print something out in color. After the ink runs out / clogs up, I'll just toss it out and go get another freebie. This is a huge waste of resources, but the printer companies are doing the razor/blade trick where they give the printers away and gouge you for the price of ink. Grrrr....

One last thing, I got a $50 rebate on this printer, bringing the total cost down to $130. Very competitive for an all-in-one.

5-0 out of 5 stars MAKES ME A SMART BUYER
Easy installation - three PCs each with Windows XP, I just finished the installation and printed test-print from all three computers and a couple pages of return address labels. Easy and smooth install except toner install was a little bit tricky. Printer was saying "[JAM] or [No Cartridge]" I succeeded after a couple more tries. I had to push down the handle of the cartridge a litle bit firmly after it was all the way in.

Good quality copy & print - I printed the rebate form for the machine and copied what I'm going to mail in. It's faster than I expected and the print looks just like ones from my workplace (state of art laser printers $$$$)...of course I'm comparing texts not graphics. Also to be fair with other printers, this is my first laser printer.

Scan is to be tested more - I just don't have much experiences in scanning...other than text scan. Just for fun, I scanned a color picture (600dpi and 24bit true color) and saved in two different ways - jpg(150K) and tiff(17M took a long-long time for my computer to open). I'm happy with both formats. I did a OCR scan(my first OCR scan unless it's same as import using Adobe Acrobat) of one of the rebate forms and saved in MS doc format which I opened with OpenOffice. Two colums (different sizes, fonts, etc.) on original became one column plain text...works for me. After you have scanned you can choose to save in many different formats without re-scan. I saved the same scanned rebate form as a pdf and it's a perfect pdf document...great! There are about 15 languages to choose from when saving.

PROS: good looking, good size, great value, good quality
CONS: no printer cable, short-life of included toner(1,000pages)

5-0 out of 5 stars Does exactly what i want it to do
This printer prints very fast. Makes good copy and doesn't occupy a lot of space. For slightly over $150 this is a good deal. The only drawback is the time it takes to scan a document and the "somewhat" expensive toner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another quality Samsung product
I purchased one of these recently and it is everything I expected and more. The copier funtion works like a charm. The included software integrates with my eFax easily. The print quality is good. It is all so compact it take sthe place of my old Samsung 1410 Laser Printer and an old scanner.

4-0 out of 5 stars no scanner software for Mac OSX
This is a great little printer. The scanner and copier are a nice bonus. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't provide OSX-compatible scanner software, so I can't use that function. However, it makes excellent print-outs and copies. It is compact and reasonably speedy. I was going to buy an HP Laserjet 1012, but the Samsung was priced lower, had an additional mail-in rebate, and had the extra features. The HP is smaller in volume, but its footprint with the paper tray is about the same as the Samsung. Also, the toner cartridge for the Samsung prints 25% more pages and costs only $10-20 more than the HP cartridge. I picked this printer b/c it has the most bang-for-your-buck. And even though the scanner doesn't work for me, I am happy with my purchase. ... Read more

    Amazon.com Product Description

Say goodbye to bulky, low-res television and say hello to Polaroid's LCD-2000. This 20-inch LCD TV produces exciting, perfectly flat images while occupying minimal space in your office, bedroom, kitchen, or living room. The 640 x 480-resolution television includes an NTSC tuner for immediate off-air reception, and it's also ideal for use with a DTV receiver, a progressive-scan DVD player, a VCR, or even your computer for dual-purpose viewing.

The set is configured in a standard, 4:3 aspect ratio that matches most broadcast TV dimensions and accepts both standard-definition 480i and enhanced-definition 480p signals. And with its 350:1 contrast ratio, impressive 450 cd/m2 brightness rating, and onboard digital comb filter (which separates the color signals to minimize dot crawl and blurred edges), the set renders sharp, focused images that look great regardless of their source. It also features super-wide, 176-degree viewing angles so everyone in the room can enjoy a great view.

LCD screens offer a number of benefits over CRT monitors and televisions, including general ease of use, freedom from eye strain (no screen flickering or radiation emissions), quiet operation (no high-pitch "flyback" noise, an issue with CRT TVs), accurate image geometry (no curvature distortion or susceptibility to magnetic interference from, say, speakers), long screen life (with no risk of image burn-in), space savings, and--at a mere 23 pounds--light weight/easy positioning. They also tend to be more affordable than their flat-panel plasma counterparts, which often (though not always) offer faster response times and higher contrast ratios.

Connections consist of a VGA (15-pin D-Sub) PC input with minijack audio, an RF coaxial antenna/video input, and 1 each component-video, composite-video, and S-video inputs with 1 stereo analog (left/right) RCA audio input between them.

5-0 out of 5 stars I am impressed
I have to say, I am really impressed with the quality of this TV for the price. It has many features found on much higher priced televisions, yet is very simple to operate. The picture quality is excellent for a tv in this price range and installation onto a wall mount was a breeze.I mounted this tv above the double doors in my bedroom (where I had an electrical and cable outlet installed when we built the house) and it looks great!Very sleek and stylish, I need a new TV for our living room too, and If Poloroid makes a large screen flat screen I will definately look into it as well.Very satisfied here!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!!!
We recently purchased the Polaroid 20 inch LCD Flat Panel TV. It has clear, crisp pictures with unbelieveable color. The onscreen program guide is easy to follow when adjusting color, size, etc. I also recieved the Polariod portable DVD player with the pivitable screen for Christmas. I am very impressed and satisfied with the Polaroid company and plan on purchasing more items from them in the future!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good TV, bad PC monitor
I did order the 15 Pin VGA M-M cable but the monitor can only work at 800X600 or 640X480. Don't expect too much as having a 20" PC monitor.

Good TV indeed. I have tried out with PS2 and regular cable. It works gret.

It doesn't need a TV tuner. Even a 1024X768 TV tuner can't do a better job than a TV itself ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
Pros: Saves space, can act as a TV, ability to connect VCR etc, using line input.
Cons: Mediocre display quality, discoloration in lower half of the screen, Only displays 1280x1024 at 75HZ refresh rate. Speaker sound ok, nothing spectacular. Lacks DVI input, has only Standard Analog display connector. TV picture and captioning fuzzy, strains eyes after watching for some time.
Recommendation: If you are a techno-geek, you will notice this short comings and return it. Save yourself some trouble and either buy standalone Samsung LCD monitor or spend more and buy 930MP for better performance and quality.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Monitor and TV
Its looks great, works great, easy set up, and easy to use. I purchased this model after looking at many LCD Tv's. 19" is a perfect size for watching tv and monitor use. It saves on so much space being able to combine two electronics into one. The PIP feature is awesome. I tend to use that more while working on the computer. Contrast, response time, color and everything else are all right on target. I had a Sony flat screen monitor prior to this which I loved. To save on space, I purchased this and glad I did. The monitor looks exactually like my old one. Slim and stylish, while maximizing desktop space and giving bright and colorful images. You would never think there is a tv inside of this. Built in speakers are a huge plus and also save on desk space. Setup was a breeze. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to save on desk space, whether in a bedroom, den, kitchen or anywhere else you use these two electronics. ... Read more
