this product is *not* sold by Amazon-dot-com but by a subsidiary of an affiliate company.they wanted to charge me $8 "shipping and handling" PLUS TAX for a $10 cable.$19 is too much to pay for a $10 cable.i can do much better locally.

Princeton LCD line decent, but far from great
I bought this model due to the deal that was available at the time.For the price I find this lcd to be pretty good as long as you only have a analog connection.For everyday web browsing this is a pretty good deal.However if you planned on buying this for watching movies or playing games you might want to consider your purchase carefully.This lcd, despite its contrast spec, has rather poor contrast.Yes, you can tune up the contrast so that colors in games and movies become more distinguished, however at high contrast settings the lighter spectrum of colors become far too bright.It's almost impossible to adjust this monitor into a satisfying setting that you can usefor movie viewing and web browsing. But for the standard user this monitor will do fine.

Great monitor for the price
I got this monitor about a month ago. I have had zero problems with it and love it so much!!! I did a lot of research and it seemed this fit the bill well. It has at least and, succeeded some, of the minimum requirements which are pretty high now. The colors took some adjusting to since I had an ancient CRT monitor which had dulled over the years. It is crisp clear and I have had no "ghosting" problems. LOVE IT. Thanks Amazon.com

Go for the Senergy model
Princeton Digital is really shooting themselves in the foot (feet?) by creating three separate lines of LCD monitors (SENergy, LCD and SL) and then selling the supposedly "high-end" SENergy series at low prices.If you want a 17" LCD monitor, check out the Priceton SENergy 714, which is a better-quality monitor for the same price -- lower if you can find a rebate.The SENergy monitors are better quality and also better supported.I really don't see why Princeton doesn't just consolidate all the products into one line and make sure all their offerings are solid in quality.Their "value"-oriented SL line is pissing off a lot of people. ... Does the job...bit too pricy, though
As advertised, the 3M Notebook Privacy Filter does its job by masking what you are typing on the screen from other people. Someone seated right next to you cannot tell what is being typed on the screen...guaranteed. For people travelling on business with sensitive documentation, this filter is a must. For masking personal letters or emails, its a must.

If you read other reviews from other websites stating it is possible for others to see the screen behind you, it's true. But it'll take someone with super, telescopic vision to be able to read the typing from that far away. If they are looking right over your shoulder, then you should have the right to give ther person a dirty look and tell them to back off. This filter's purpose is to mask unsuspecting eyes from spying from the side view in a crowded environment and that is what it does. It's not 100%, though...from a sixty degree angle, your screen will appear really dark, but it is more than enough to mask what you are typing.

This 12.1" filter fits perfectly into an IBM Thinkpad X40. It clamps right on it making it seem like a part of your notebook. There's no sticky adhesives necessary to keep it on.

So why am I giving it only three stars? Well, in my opinion, there is absolutely no logical justification to make it so expensive! At most, I could understand if they charged this product for something like $24.95 or so, but asking for $80, retail, is just plain ridiculous. Even half that amount is too much. It's simply a piece of plastic. I was lucky and got mine at an auction for $0.99, but it is too pricy for private use, seriously.

A black shark in the blue waters
I took one look at this case on thermaltakes web site and decided I had to have it.I used the case to upgrade one of my existing computers and here are my thoughts:

Pros -
1.Removable mother board tray.Release two thumb screws and its out.
2.5 individual hard drive trays that install at 90 degrees.No bulky hard drive cages to deal with.Snap in and out easily.Anti-shock mounting screws for each hard drive.
3.Floppy enclosure removes out the front of the case.Holds two 3.5 devices.
4.Hard drive rails included and can be found mounted to the back side of each 5.25 bay cover.
5.Plenty of hardware to mount your stuff.
6.Oversized fan in back!Very cool and blue.
7.Black aluminum but very light.
8.Easy to open.Secures with lock.
9.Compatible with water cooling systems.
10.Processor temperature ran very cool compared to old case

CONS-
1.Front panel cabling routed in such a way that two bottom hard drive trays would not install when drives where attached.Had to reroute front panel cabling.Not difficult but annoying.
2.No instructions included.The screws used to mount the hard drives are not the same due to the anti-shock feature and anyone not familiar with this type of feature might use the wrong screws to mount the hard drives.

I'd give this case 5 stars but for the last two items.Minor details that are easily overcome.I am looking to buy 2 more of these cases and upgrading all my towers.

I LOVE THIS CASE!!!!!!!!!!!
I just built my second computer and decided to go with this case. Let me tell you," It's NICE." It's a full tower. I did not realize how tall it was and it would not fit under my desk until I took the feet off the bottem of the case,it fits like a charm. Everything runs cool with the extra space inside and it looks cool at night or when the lights are off too!
If you're considering this case get it you wont be disappointed.

People, when writing reviews please compare picture quality to an already existing standard (DVD, VHS), instead of saying "overall good picture quality", "picture is nice", etcetra.
Something like "its just about as good as a DVD-Playback on my computer" is more helpful to those who are thinking of buying the same product.

I've always thought that watching tv/movies (dvd/vhs) on a computer screen was out of the question.THe most important part of the puzzle the 'video card' had to be of such a quality that made it impossible to find.Plus, having the 'puter on while watching a dvd/cable can make things annoying.This tuner is amazing...i've since gotten rid of my tv (a 25" magnavox) which did well but took up space and really did nothing more than what this tuner along with a new flat screen monitor can do.Plus i get to keep everything in one place.Games (rugby, football, etc...) are near perfect on the screen, as are dvd's such as the matrix!which can become a big blur if you don't have the right equipment.I recommend the use of a high quality (not high $) flat screen or crt monitor.I have since purchased a Planar 19" from reviews i read.I had the highest rating for clear and concise pictures when viewed as a multi-entertainment screen.If you have any more questions/points that i may have 'glossed over' or forgoten to make feel free to email me.
