great!
I bought this for my Sony Vaio Picturebook which is a tiny computer but the case has padded strips that let me customize it to fit my computer.It's probably okay for a small laptop but is definitely too small for larger ones (check the measurements before buying).The case and zippers are sturdy as are the handles and carrying strap; it come with a tamper-proof lock and key.There is room in the main part of the case for power cords and CDs and there is a pocket on the front that will acommodate a mouse, CD burner and batteries; at the back is a very thin pocket that would hold a paperback thesaurus or a small notebook.My only gripe with the bag is that it would be better if this pocket had a gusset so you could put a textbook here or larger notebook.Overall, however, I'm very happy with this.

Well built, great quality...just a little too tight
I own an IBM X40 series notebook computer. For weeks I've been looking for the perfect bag for this notebook that is great in quality and well-known for it. Who better than Samsonite? When I first laid my eyes on this bag, I thought I was in heaven. The dimensions and details described in the Samsonite website made this the perfect match for my notebook, so I immediately bought one. Is it worth the price? Well, I'd say it is fair. Finding notebook bags this size is difficult. Finding a notebook bag this size with a quality name to it is even more difficult. The bag is sturdy and well made. You can feel the quality and tell it is built to last. So why am I giving it only four stars? Well,...it's perfect, but a bit too perfect. Yes, it fits a small laptop with a 12" screen...but it is a bit too tight. But we also have to consider other accessories. The biggest problem is my notebook has 6-hour battery, which is larger than the default 3-hour battery. Yeah, it gets in the way so you have to shove it into the bag. So if you own a notebook with an oversized battery, you may want to reconsider. We also have to consider the power adapter for the notebook. There are pockets inside, but with the notebook already snug in there, you can't really close it without having to push down on it and then zipping it up. This goes for all other peripherals as well like a mouse, LAN cable, modem cable, security lock, docking stations, extra battery...it'll stuff the bag making it really tight; therefore, your notebook is a bit vulnerable to damage. I would use this bag for the primary purpose of site to site transport of the laptop only (like home to work). For travel purposes, it's a bit iffy. You are never going to fit all your papers, passports, cell phones, and other travel stuff into the bag...no way. One last complaint...the shoulder strap is too short. I ordered it from Amazon just coupple of days ago. I could not find it anywhere from Estonia, so it was perfect finding for me. However, I hoped it is smaller - it is actually too big for my slim (IBM X22) notebook. I like that it does not have any extra pockets, zippers what so ever, so it's easy and nice way to carry a laptop in a purse (could have been a bit smaller though!)

Great case and exellent delivery time.
I recently purchased this computer sleeve from Amazon.com because I couldn't find it anywhere here in Hawaii.I got it within the expected delivery dates.I tried it on my Sony Vaio PCG-FRV series laptop and fits like a glove.This product equalled up to my expectations and I recommend this product for people who like to carry their laptop in their school bag.The only problem I got was the tracking info was wrong.It wasn't Amazon.com to blame but it was the USPS's fault for the tracking.

Good, functional, but minimalist.
This case does what it does very well, but don't expect any extras.I feel like I can drop my laptop into a backpack along with several textbooks and be confident that it won't be damaged.
However, I often find myself wishing it had a sleeve or zippered pocket for things like manuals and cds, so be certain you don't need spaces for anything else.
Also, while the zippered opening in the back is a nice touch, it's too narrow to allow access to any ports except those in the center. This means that if your laptop's AC-jack is near one of the ends, you'll still have to remove it from the sleeve to charge it.
This sleeve may be right for you, but be sure it does everything you need it to or you could be disappointed.

Perfect solution for me
I already have a backpack in which I carry my laptop. It didn't have quite as much padding as I wanted and I wanted to protect the laptop from othe items I may carry in the backpack. This sleeve turned out to be the perfect solution. My computer fits perfectly and everything works out great. I have a Dell with a 15" display, the sleeve fits like a glove and adds considerable padding to the situation. This would be a great solution for carrying a computer in a bag not specifically designed for a laptop. Highly recommended.

Too big for an iBook
This sleeve is not for iBooks. It's for 15" screen laptop computers and swims on my 12" PowerBook. Maybe it's OK for a 14" iBook, but not a 12" iBook or PowerBook as the other review suggests. ... Read more

A fine little wi-fi finder
I purchased the WIFI Finder Plus last week and used it the past five days. As for its main purpose of ID'ing WIFI stations it does a very good job as far as I can tell. With my own home wireless setup it gave good readings around the house and outside I was able to determine usable limits.I checked it out at various neighborhood coffee houses with 'hot spots' and it found them all. Also, it wasn't affected by our cordless phones (2.4 GHz). [BTW,it does pick up Bluetooth but only if the Bluetooth device is active!]

Not worth the money...
This is the first 'finder' I've ever tried using, so I'm hoping that there are others out there that actually work.For one thing, this product is supposed to locate Bluetooth networks, and it has NEVER worked for me, even right next to my laptop.It also reports that my WiFi network strength is lower than it actually is, again according to the software on my laptop.So if you plan on using this while you wander around 'looking' for WiFi networks, forget about it.If you aren't within about 5 feet of the network's base station, then you'll never see it with the Kensington WiFi Finder Plus.Save your money, this product is not worth the money. ... The Ultimate Road Warrior Case
I travel almost every weekend, and have to lug my Toshiba Satellite Pro and Dell DLP Projector with me, along with a change of clothes, toiletries, and other miscellaneous "stuff." Until I found this case, I was making do with a wheeled carry-on suitcase and an over-the-shoulder laptop case.

The Mobile Office holds everything I need and it is much lighter than my suitcase. The telescoping handle is easy to use, and the wheels give this case a smoother ride than my car.

There are four zippered compartments in this case, with lots of pockets and other organizational helps. Here's the lowdown on how I use this case: The projector and cables go in the deep rear compartment, with clothes and misc. in the next compartment. I removed the nylon laptop case and dividers (for files or whatever) and put my laptop in the next zippered compartment. The large laptop (it has a 15" screen) fits easily. The small compartment in the front has several places to hold cell phone, wallet, credit cards and ID, pens, etc.

All this and the case easily stows in the overhead bin on any airplane. (It probably fits under the seat in some, but not most planes.) ... Read more

one of the best values out there
I bought mine in 1998 for $50--a steal then, though there are better options now at the same price.

Holds an unbelievable amount of stuff.Unfortunately, it is awkward to use (though it fits under the seat on a plane, getting stuff out of it is much harder than a side-zip computer case I use now).

Also, it looked quite sharp--not quite a professional briefcase that you'd carry into a courtroom, but far easier to commute with than an old shoulder-slinger computer case.

The stowaway backpack straps are great--except when you're wearing a business suit, or a jacket, in which case they're annoying to use and I'd stick with the shoulder strap.My strap split after a few months of constant use, but was easily replaced.

Protection for the laptop is a little understated--the shoulder strap slipped and the backpack fell to the ground one time, shattering my old Toshiba's screen.You've been warned...

Finally, even the most ergonomic backpack is still a backpack--do you really want to carry 15-20 pounds on your back when you could wheel it on the ground?The extra expense for a roller is well worth it; don't believe me?Carry this bag fully loaded for a few years like I did and you certainly will. But as an interim bag, it isn't bad at all...

Good looking, comfortable, holds lotsastuff, but too fragile
This is a good-priced, cool-looking, spacious, comfortable to carry bag. It converts to a backpack and the shoulder strap and handle are super padded.

Bad news: I went through two of these in six months, the second very nicely provided as a replacement for the first by Kensington for free. They both ripped out at one of the outer seams in the main non-padded compartment. I have a haul of a commute via bus and NYC subway and the bag got shoved around a lot. The exposed seams tend to snag on any available sharp surface and rip out.

Be nice to it and this could be a good bag, but if you need a bag that can be abused, stay away.

3 weeks into this bag
Bag is holding up great vs commuting on buses, by car and also being used for a tote while volunteering as a naturalist at the local parks. I can verify that it is mud, fresh water, salt water, blackberry bramble and dog proof and has left my laptop functional and clean at the end of each day. Even dropped the bag once and the computer was fine. Oh and the bag got punted while standing on the bus and everything was fine as well.No sign of the seam ruptures noted by an earlier reviewer - there has been much abuse...

Great bag at a good price
I purchased this bag for my son for Christmas; he is a database analyst for world COM and takes his laptop everywhere. This bag is snappy looking and just the right size for a laptop, and accessories.

Great Sleeve - Just Needs A Handle
I was looking for another of the ICON notebook sleeves - a thin carrying case to offer minor protection and not break the bank.Since the ICON was discontinued, I ordered the Fellowes Body Glove Sleeve.It is a great price ($8.50) and great quality.However, since Amazon did not have a picture, I did not know it does not have a handle or strap of any kind...so plan on carrying it under your arm. ...
