Good Labels, Bad Value
The labels are good enough, but they charge over $9 for shipping + $2 for tax!That's an extra 50% of the cost of the labels!

Great, easy, quick!
I have used these labels on various projects, most of which are DVD's that I create for the company I work for.They have proven to work great, they're easy to do, and it's a quick way to spruce up the outward appearance of the disks!

Delayed Disappointment
I purchased a pack with 100 labels (32030410).The first half were precut properly (3 cuts) for each disk label (outside diameter, 1 1/2" cutout for the clear area on the disk and 1/2 inch center hole if you decide to leave the clear area covered).The second half of the package didn't have the cut for the center spindle hole.Unfortunately, I didn't discover the problem until beyond their warranty period.Who would expect to have to check all the sheets before using any of them??? ... Great Labels
I've used hundreds of these labels & never had a problem. I've used other brands & they've had air bubbles & after a while 'wrinkled', rendering the CD no good. So I continue to use Fellowes Neato.

Not heat-proof
I used dozens of these labels until I found that they come unstuck in the heat inside the car CD player.It cost me $45.00 to have the dealer fix it!I emailed Neato and was told that this is a problem, they have no resolution, and I could use a mineral or citrus based product to remove the labels.They had no plans to produce a heat-resistant product.

This is very unsatisfactory.Surely with all the adhesives available today, they could find one appropriate to this application.

Favorite and most economical
Never had a problem with them, tried TDK & Avery and did not like as much as these. Neto is a great product supported by nearly all programs. Recomended.

Fellowes CD labels
These are very good labels to use. I have never had a problem with them and I have used hundreds of them.

DO NOT BUY~~~
I have used over 400 of these labels. I never could figure out WHY all my CD's would make horrible scratching noises after about 20 minutes of playing. Well I have finally found the answer. After the heat of the CD player begins to get hotter, the GLUE on the CD label begins to shift, and rise. This causes the small tolerance of the Cd Player to cause the Cd Player to malfunction. I discovered this because a friend just bought a new cd player and told me the cd I made him started scratching and causing the CD player to shut down. Interesting because this was the same as mine. When it happened to me again, I replaced the Fellowes label cd with a Non labeled CD and suddenly just seconds after I couldn't stand the Scratching noise of the Fellowes Labeled CD the Identical Non Label played for hours without a SINGLE PROBLEM... DO NOT BUY.... 3years and 400+ labels later, fellowes still hasn't improved their product. ... Read more

Worthless Software
If I could give this product 0 stars I would, but that's not an option.The labels themselves are fine as far as I can tell, but the "Bonus LabelMaker Software" that comes with them is the worst that I have ever worked with.I would have been happier paying the same price for the product if it didn't say that it included software, because then I would have known I should have bought software in addition to the labels.In theory, the software shows you on your screen where the label is on the page.Then you use standard text boxes to attempt to design an attractive label.It is difficult to navigate, slow, and inaccurate.The graphics and clip art provided with it are ugly and useless.Once you manage to design your your label and print it, you find that the template on the software does not match up with the printed labels, so you end up wasting quite a few sheets trying to adjust your label on the computer screen screen so that it actually looks correct on the label once it comes out of your printer.If you own label design software that is compatible with these labels, you might be fine, but if you are planning to use the included software to create labels, good luck! ... Only bought because Imation Sonix stopped making their label
No where near as easy to use as my old system ,But with trial and error can have a decent amount of control over your Projects.But one interesting thing someone mentioned earlier
is that regardless of with system you use these labels can alter
the way DVDs play making them stick and freeze and wondering if its the disks,burner or what..after some experimenting I did
confirm that it was actually the labels I was having so much fun making...It might be the weight but i think its possibly the way the beam shines through the disc and reflects off the white label backing..Dunno but if you all of a sudden start having problems try a labeling tape or a sharpie.

Better Than Memorex System
Calibration software is confusing and they will curl in your car player after a while (heat)Otherwise, the capabilities are pretty good, overall happy with it.Got a bunch of the Memorex labels which are decent quality but that software is useless.

Piece of Junk
This software is a mess. I bought it for the "fingerprint" capability which is suppossed to be abel to identify audio tracks and supply title and artist info. It is not good. It identified about 85% of the tracks I tried, but the information is supplied field by field. That is, track number, title, artist, duration, etc. are each supplied separately and have to be placed on the label separately, with minimal formatting options. Is some cases I couldn't even get them all on the label.
I would recommend that you look at other packages.

Been using it for 3 years....
and I'm still happy! We initially had to get used to the software and the printer setup and yes, you do need some patience during the learning curve of this creative process - it's not the normal daily routine of most people.We never encountered any errors when creating the actual labels or printing them.We also have not had any problems upon using the labelled CDs or DVDs.We're happy with the product.

Do not use with DVDs!!!!
Several people seem to think that this kit is a headache, and makes it difficult to produce good-looking labels.That's not the nature of my complaint.

I used the NEATO applicator and matte labels (2up template) to make labels for my DVD+Rs.I was more than satisfied at first - I made about 25 labels, and had a blast giving my once-blank discs a facelift.It wasn't until I actually went to watch the DVDs that I had any trouble.About 70% through the movie, the image and audio would begin to seriously mess up, until it would just stop playing.This happened not only in my standalone DVD player, but also in my DVD-ROM.I thought that the discs themselves were bad, or my drive had burnt them improperly, or my burning software was corrupt.Nope - it was the labels all along.Old movies that played fine without a label wouldn't play properly after having a label put on them.Not only that, but my new movies that wouldn't play right would played just fine after I peeled the label off the disc.I don't know why this happens, and I don't know if it applies to labels other than the matte ones, but it's a serious issue and nowhere in the labels' documentation does it give any warning of such problems.

In summary, don't use these labels for your DVDs.They'll compromise your discs' ability to play properly, turning your good movies into coasters.Now, I've got to peel these damn things off of twenty-something discs.Save yourselves the trouble and stick to the tried-and-true black Sharpie when it comes to labeling your discs.

Memorex 32020700 Jewel Case Inserts (50 Pack)
This is a nice product.However the software included is not that great.After receiving the product and seeing the paper type, I could have made my own jewel case inserts using card stock or plain computer paper.However the paper would have to be measured and cut to fit the jewel case.
If do not want to have to measure and cut your jewel case inserts then this product is for you.
2 star for the software included.
4 star for the jewel case inserts.

Easy to use
I bought this for a school project.The annual was producing it's own CD, and I needed packaging for it.These lables worked well, and were reasonably priced.Be careful when printing, as the side flaps are difficult to align.

After doing some looking around, I found this to be a very good bargin.The matte finish workes quite well, and the paper quality is very good as well.Looks professional. But before using, check your software.I followed the arrows printed on the sheets, and it ended up being printed up side down, and on the wrong end of the page.Not a problem with the product, just my lack of checking things out first.

After doing some looking, I purchased this product.It does work well, and the quantity enclosed is well worth the money.Just be careful of your software program so that you don't end up following the arrows on the individual sheets, and have the printouts being up-side down.This was my own fault for not reading before I got started.

Nice for home creations; not to be confused with Pro Labels
Although one will immediately get the impression that these are great, easy to use labels, digging deeper, they begin to reveal their problems. It seems as if with every other printing job, the alignment is off, even when used with a very professional and versatile printer. Easy As 1-2-3
I was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews here, but decided to treat them like movie reviews and tried it myself.
This product was sooooo easy to use. I installed the software on my HP laptop in no time, and designed five labels.
I printed them, used the stomper and voila- even a child could do it.
The only drawback is you have to be careful when you reposition the text boxes. I printed one or two labels where the words ran off onto the waste section, but otherwise it was great. A steal at the price, really!

Mac software does not work *at all*
I bought it assuming the labeling stating Mac compatability was true.The software crashes every 5 seconds and is so far behind the PC version it's a joke.There is no download for any update on the website except for PC.The Mac version is at 3.4.2, while the PC version is up to 5.I had to build my own template in Illustrator.Nice labels, guys, but thanks for nothing.

Looks pretty but ruins discs
I've used CD Stomper for well over two years and I can attest that it is very easy to use.The software is intuitive and the labels look amazing on the CD (especially if you use the glossy labels with photographic level images.)I am a self proclaimed neat-nick and these labels have really dressed up my audio CD backups, software archive discs and DVD discs.Until recently I have been a devoted CD Stomper user and advocate.

BEWARE!The glossy labels will warp the disc over time.I've never used the thinner, matte labels so have no experience with them or their archival quality.I went to view a DVD archive that I had labeled about 18 months ago and the discs are warped beyond usability.Thinking it must be inferior media (Datawrite brand) I started to check my archived discs and older audio CDs.The media brands of these other discs include: Maxell, Memorex, Philips, Sony, and Verbatim.They all are exhibiting the warping to varying degrees all based on age.The longer the label is affixed to the disc, the more it will warp it.When pealing a label off the backing before it is applied you will notice an extreme curve toward the printed side.Who would guess that a piece of paper could exert enough force to bend a plastic CD?

You'll never go back to writing again!
For years, I've labeled my CDs/DVDs with a permanent marker. Now that I've ventured out and bought a CD/DVD labelmaker, I'm stunned at the results! It's very simple to follow the instructions given, or just trying things out 'trial and error'. Nothing's simpler than just putting in an image either you've made or a CD/DVD label you download online, then you press print and stick the label on the applicator and press! Viola - instant labels!

The only thing I've found is that all the labels included are matte/paper quality, anything more than that like glossy/photo quality is very expensive! Matte quality is standard and decent enough. I recommend having at least a good inkjet printer if you're going to print photos on the labels, they do soak up ink!

I highly recommend this product, it's quite addictive once you get the hang of it!!!

Mac software might not work for you
I find the product is usable on Mac OS 10.1.5
It crashes on opening in Mac OS 10.3
It has a few bugs, but I am very pleased by my final results.

Hard to peel off
Maybe my batch was just defective, but the circular cuts in the top paper were not complete and when the labels were peeled off, about half of them ripped where the circle wasn't completed. I was able to use most of them, and they looked fair, but I'll try a different label now that these are finished.

Excellent labels
I tried other labels and found the Neato labels are thicker and therefore less likely to bind and crinkle when you apply to a CD/DVD.The spine labels are useful too for giving a professional look to the cases.A good first purchase is the Neato kit that includes the stomper for attaching labels to the CD and software that I've found intuitive and stable.

100% Satisfied.
I have used other brand name labels and find this one to be the best so far.Good quality...perfect thickness, stick well, no smudges or smears.They work well with my CD burning program.I didn't have to buy another program in order to use these labels. (As someone else stated in another review.)

I was expecting the kit
I wasn't aware when I ordered this that I would also need more and should have ordered the kit.
As far as the label material and the way it looks after printing onto the label, it looks great....but wish I would have know to order the whole kit.

I must say I have had few problems with the "Fellowes NEATO CD/DVD Labels." I haven't used many different types of lables so my 4 stars could be based on ignorance. Basically they do what they say they do: You burn a CD, you print a picture on the lable, and then you put the lable on the CD. Great Stuff
The labeling system works like a charm.To the other person riffing on the applicator, I can't see why that's the case.

This kit a dummy proofed and I get no air bubbles at all.SInce the labels go all the way to the center, the cd/dvd plastic center groove goes down a little bit.So you have to press the label around the very center.Again, this ain't the labeling systems fault, but the way the way cd/dvds are made.The labels are still stuck well in the center, but needs a loving touch to get it stuck even harder.

The labels stick VERY well!It's very difficult to get it to slide off.This is improtant b/c a dvd player can heat up and melt the label right off.So far, no problems with this label.

My only grouch is that these labels are expensive. Plus, my laser printer ink (Samsung) doesn't quite penetrate the white matte labels enough.When I use my finger to press the center of the printed white matte label, the ink transfers to my hand a little bit.

I'm going to try now the glossies to see if the ink from my printer stays on better.

Regardless, the system is the BEST.In addition, they're the only ones that makes a system to cover the very center...which looks GREAT with picture prints by the way.

I just wish these labels were cheaper!

The best
I use all of the Afterburner labels and no other labels will do! These things are great!I don't even use the labeler thingey. In daylight, I just put the CD/DVD in its case and eyeball it at the center hole. Any bubbles that happen are easy to press out. The only problem I've had is that the printer ink doesn't adhere to the metallic labels as well as the matte or glossy labels; the print can be accidentally rubbed or scraped off.

I guess
I guess people in Santa Monica aren't able to use simple devices such as the Afterburner, because it's clearly the best labeling solution out there.It's easy to get no bubbles.Just practice your motor skills.I recommend either playing catch with a tennis ball (that way it hurts less when you and your motor skill-lacking Santa Monica friends have at it) or maybe hitting the mini-golf course for refinement with that tricky hand-eye coordination.Good luck.As for the labeler, folks, go and get it.The labeler and its labels work just fine.

Flawed Applicator
The labels are a great idea.They are the only labels in stores right now that print all the way down to the hole in the middle of your CD.Unfortunately they only work with the Afterburner Applicator which is poorly designed.It's the flexible gizmo that takes a lot of practice to use correctly and even then it prone to air-bubbling and difficult to get perfectly aligned and centered on your CD hole. ...
