Crisp clean images
I got the printer as a present, and have found it's great to print out snapshots of digital photos to put in keepsake albums. I like the quality of the images - they look like traditional snapshots, except a bit more high contrast. I have no trouble printing them from PhotoShop or PaintShop Pro. (In Print Options you check the "Size to Media" box.) At ... a pack, each snapshot costs about 50 cents, so you can't make many test prints. But I don't need or want 8 1/2 x 11 photos, so this systems is perfect. The cartridges & paper are easy to change.

Inkusa HP 15 inkjet cartridges
I purchased a refurbrished HP 15 inkjet cartridge twin packfrom Inkusa. The first cartridge was rejected because it was damaged. The other cartridge worked for a day and a half before the ink nozzle clogged and wouldn't print. Such a deal!
Didn't try the HP 78 yet but perhaps picking up a replacement at ****** would be a good backup idea.

Printer cartridge
I was amazed by the low price of the C6615DN cartridge, this company has here the competitive edge. It was shipped just after the weekend and reached me in 3 days. Cool! I did not like the relatively high shipping costs (USD 4.99), as it was shipped for USD 1.98. Are carton boxes that expensive in Florida?

Cartridge wrecked my printer
My first two black 15 cartridges worked pretty well in my HP Deskjet 3820 then the third one started to indicate low fluid level and stopped printing. I replaced it with a new cartridges but it refused to work at all. While repeatingly trying to reinstall it as tech support suggested, the etch tore. When examing the inside of the printer, I found that black ink had splattered around inside the mechanism area indicating a leakage.The next new cartridge would not work either. $$ wasted.Tech support said to have the printer repaired -- ya sure (after only one year of moderate home use and the warantee had ran out). Printer repair would cost me more a new one.

Good Quality Ink!!
I own a Hp Deskjet 920c color printer. I have never had a problem with any purchase of the Hp Ink. I have purchased from retailers ... as well as Amazon. My last 4 purchases for this product has been from Amazon with absolutely no problems. The black is black the colored Ink is excellent as well. I run a home based buisness and creating newsletters is one of the tasks I perform almost daily. I also print out Pictures on Photo paper with awesome results. Worthless Software
If I could give this product 0 stars I would, but that's not an option.The labels themselves are fine as far as I can tell, but the "Bonus LabelMaker Software" that comes with them is the worst that I have ever worked with.I would have been happier paying the same price for the product if it didn't say that it included software, because then I would have known I should have bought software in addition to the labels.In theory, the software shows you on your screen where the label is on the page.Then you use standard text boxes to attempt to design an attractive label.It is difficult to navigate, slow, and inaccurate.The graphics and clip art provided with it are ugly and useless.Once you manage to design your your label and print it, you find that the template on the software does not match up with the printed labels, so you end up wasting quite a few sheets trying to adjust your label on the computer screen screen so that it actually looks correct on the label once it comes out of your printer.If you own label design software that is compatible with these labels, you might be fine, but if you are planning to use the included software to create labels, good luck! ... Perfect Print... Nearly
I'm a freelance illustrator who sells prints regularly. I bought the Epson 1280 printer two years ago thinking I could produce "professional" quality prints of my artwork. Much to my dismay, using the standard printer settings and the available epson papers, I got less than desirable results. The prints were plagued with wysiwyg problems. The art on the monitor looked great, but when it printed out, the colors were off!
I had to constantly tweak the printer settings to get the right colors. Not only that, I heard the prints would eventually turn orange over a period of time! I was about to give up on the printer, but then came along the colorlife papers.

better than epson
This product works wonderfully in my Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer. I like the HP transparencies better than the Epson transparencies. Type is more crisp and colors are more accurate with the hp transparencies.

The Best There Is
These transparency sheets are thicker than other brands, and have a deeper grain on them.They hold ink better.The Office Depot brand is cheaper, but I lost time and money by using the off brand because the ink kept running.

In conclusion, using this brand could save you a lot of frustration; and in the long run they will save you money.

Good for HP DeskJets, worthless for Epson Styluses
I bought this premium transparency film and had no problems using it in my old HP DeskJet. But then my HP DeskJet printer died and I bought an Epson Stylus C82.

These transparencies work like crap in the Epson, maybe by design? Instead of getting solid black areas, I get severe banding (tiny horizontal lines that ink doesn't stick to), making this stuff useless for the printed circuit board exposures I wanted to use it for. IBM transparencies work perfectly in the Epson printer, so I don't blame the printer, it's these HP transparencies.

Only buy these if you know you will only be using them on an HP printer!

Transparencies for hard tasks
These transparencies by Hewlett-Packard are high-end products designed for hard tasks. They are hard, unlike most of other companies' products, which is good, as they wear out slower and are less prone to accidental damage. Also, the stripe is on the left, and not on the top, as in most generic transparencies. This may be important if you want to save space. Usually, the text of your presentation does not fill the entire horizontal space. You wnat as much of the vertical space as possible, and for this reason HP transparencies do a fine job. Pictures and colors look superb on this hard-surfaced transparency.

If you present papers less than once a month, consider buying HP. Go for quality.

I just got my P-400 printer.Using XP operating system I found that they have not got a good print driver as yet but will sometime this spring.The print is beautiful.I still have much to learn about lightening the print. It seems to print on the dark side. Big drawback is the 7.64 x10 print rather than 8x10.It just barely covers under a frame and much harder to trim.I would like to know where the viewer from Olympia, WA gets their paper for 19.95 and ribbon for 39.95.Please write and let me know.Does anyone have a good price on these items?I want to keep costs down as I do a lot of printing. I am having trouble getting the USB port to print.It must be something I just don't know.I would not be worried about showing these prints to any customer. creativeimages2@earthlink.net.

Great paper for great photo printer!
Great paper and picture output.... I have just begun using them to replace "traditional" prints and am very satisfied with the prints it makes.Only complaint was no variation yet available in paper types, ie semi-gloss or matte...

Nothing touches it...yet
I just recently purchased the Camedia P-400 printer a few weeks ago and have used it quite a bit. I would have to say it is the best photo printer on the market today. While it doesn't give perfect results (and this depends a lot on your photo image that you print) it comes close. From about 2-3 feet away you can't tell the image came from a printer. Prints beautiful 8x11 photos. I haven't used it with a digital camera yet, but have used it for files off my computer. Timed, it takes about 10-11 minutes to print a photo (color or b&w) and does make some noise (just as a laser jet).

PROS: Great quality photos, nice design, sturdy, easy to set up and use, works with smartmedia cards/pc cards/computer image files (.jpg,.gif etc.), photos instantly dry/no smudges or smears, photo paper quality is excellent

CONS: Only came with 5 sheets of paper and a photo ribbon for 5 prints, no cables provided for hook-up (not a problem if you already own a printer cable), expensive paper and ribbon (costs $1.60 per print)

If you are looking for a great photo printer and want professional looking prints buy this printer (if you can afford it).

I also should add you get 25 glossy photos per pack ($19.99) and the photo ribbon can print 50 photos ($39.99)

Photo Quality with Dye Sublimation
I've used this paper with my A2 printer and the results are amazing. The printer is as close to true dye sublimation as you can get at home. One cartridge already half empty?

I just opened a new pack of these and the first cartridge I took out of the two-pack appears already half empty. This was from a sealed plastic carton bought new. I noticed writing on the package of install before AUG 2005 so I have almost a year before they "expire". The indicator was half green and half black so I assume I got a cartridge only half full. Out of curiosity I opened the second cartridge and found that its indicator was entirely green meaning it was OK. So, being that I only got 3/4 of the ink I paid for I have to give it a 1 star.

Don't even think of clicking the "used" button; you'll be sorry.When it comes to so-called "remanufactured" cartridges especially for HP inkjet printers, don't take the chance.The "used" cartridge doesn't last as long, there's a possibility that the cartridge may explode, rendering your printer useless, and probably you'll void the warrenty on the printer.Don't be deceived, buy only "new" for HP printers (especially because the head is in the print cartridge.)Also a note to the Amazon people:Don't show a picture of a twin pack for the "used" product, because that's not what your getting in the mail if you buy it.

You really shouldn't show the picture of the genuine HP cartridges when the seller sends you a knock off that doesn't work as well.This is false advertising!You can't show a picture of something and sell something else!And there was nothing said about getting a knock-off product.If you're looking for ink for ur inkjet, don't get it here.. it may be cheap, but it's not the real thing, and it doesn't work well.every few times i print i get these ugly streaks and i have to print over again.

This product is a long lasting cartridge that is very good quality.I use a HP Photosmart 1000 printer.

Good Quality, But Why So Expensive?

On the plus side, HP has improved the design of the cartridges so they do not gum up as bad as they once did. Years ago, I had a HP 660CSE printer, and the cartridges were notorious for gumming up. My current 932C works great with these cartridges.

Only bought because Imation Sonix stopped making their label
No where near as easy to use as my old system ,But with trial and error can have a decent amount of control over your Projects.But one interesting thing someone mentioned earlier
is that regardless of with system you use these labels can alter
the way DVDs play making them stick and freeze and wondering if its the disks,burner or what..after some experimenting I did
confirm that it was actually the labels I was having so much fun making...It might be the weight but i think its possibly the way the beam shines through the disc and reflects off the white label backing..Dunno but if you all of a sudden start having problems try a labeling tape or a sharpie.

Better Than Memorex System
Calibration software is confusing and they will curl in your car player after a while (heat)Otherwise, the capabilities are pretty good, overall happy with it.Got a bunch of the Memorex labels which are decent quality but that software is useless.

Piece of Junk
This software is a mess. I bought it for the "fingerprint" capability which is suppossed to be abel to identify audio tracks and supply title and artist info. It is not good. It identified about 85% of the tracks I tried, but the information is supplied field by field. That is, track number, title, artist, duration, etc. are each supplied separately and have to be placed on the label separately, with minimal formatting options. Is some cases I couldn't even get them all on the label.
I would recommend that you look at other packages.

Been using it for 3 years....
and I'm still happy! We initially had to get used to the software and the printer setup and yes, you do need some patience during the learning curve of this creative process - it's not the normal daily routine of most people.We never encountered any errors when creating the actual labels or printing them.We also have not had any problems upon using the labelled CDs or DVDs.We're happy with the product.

Do not use with DVDs!!!!
Several people seem to think that this kit is a headache, and makes it difficult to produce good-looking labels.That's not the nature of my complaint.

I used the NEATO applicator and matte labels (2up template) to make labels for my DVD+Rs.I was more than satisfied at first - I made about 25 labels, and had a blast giving my once-blank discs a facelift.It wasn't until I actually went to watch the DVDs that I had any trouble.About 70% through the movie, the image and audio would begin to seriously mess up, until it would just stop playing.This happened not only in my standalone DVD player, but also in my DVD-ROM.I thought that the discs themselves were bad, or my drive had burnt them improperly, or my burning software was corrupt.Nope - it was the labels all along.Old movies that played fine without a label wouldn't play properly after having a label put on them.Not only that, but my new movies that wouldn't play right would played just fine after I peeled the label off the disc.I don't know why this happens, and I don't know if it applies to labels other than the matte ones, but it's a serious issue and nowhere in the labels' documentation does it give any warning of such problems.

In summary, don't use these labels for your DVDs.They'll compromise your discs' ability to play properly, turning your good movies into coasters.Now, I've got to peel these damn things off of twenty-something discs.Save yourselves the trouble and stick to the tried-and-true black Sharpie when it comes to labeling your discs.
