Excellent but pricey!
This is a very good cartdrige for a very good printer. The one problem is the cost of the consumables. The ink cartridges are expensive compared witht the price of the printer. I bought the 610C years ago and it still works very well. If the price of the cartridge was lower I would give 5 stars.

HP No. 20 Blk. Inkjet Cartridge:TOO EXPENSIVE!
The HP No. 20 Black Inkjet Cartridge performs very well.My only complaint is that it is simply TOO expensive, especially when compared to other inkjet cartridges.I print a lot and have to replace my cartridges often, so I feel the brunt of the expense every time I need to purchase a new one.I would love and appreciate seeing the price drop drastically in the near future.If there is a reason why this particular inkjet cartridge is so expensive that I could understand, it would help to ease the pressure I feel because it's the only inkjet I'm able to use with the printer of my choice which prints on both sides...A feature I need to save on paper usage and space.Of course, this is just my opinion.What I print out pertains to my favorite hobby and I'm not printing out anything to sell for a profit.Probably, that's why I resent the cost so.

***HP Quailty For your Printer*** Great Choice
I own a cheap deskjet printer model 656c. I used my first black ink cartridge up in about 5 months. Lucky for me the print quailty is better than other low priced printers I'vehad in the past.

Not only that, but it probably printed off about 270-280 pages of text for only [$]. Most other ink cartriges are cheaper, but you have to consider that the quality is poor and not as many pages are produced with just one cartridge.

You don't even have to pay [$]! Just buy it used for [$-$] and save yourself a couple of bucks. Either way you win with HP's quality black cartridge.

Expensive and hard to find
The suspicious side of me wants to believe that HP did a promo with their Deskjet 612C - i.e. they sold the printer cheap or with big rebates as part of a system deal and decided to make up for their loss leader by limiting production and raising the price on the cartridge replacements.I would be surprised if there is any difference between the 612C black replacement cartridge C6614 and the much more common cartridge for the 660C other than a little plastic tab on the cartridge case. ... price AND performance
I've used Epson's Premium Glossy, Colorlife and Heavyweight Matte.The Matte is far cheaper and gives beautiful results.I've actually found that I like the Matte best for framing.It has a less reflective surface and looks more 'arty' than photographic. But I wouldn't recommend it for architectural, detailed photographs.A good benefit of both the Matte and Colorlife is that they have the longest rated life without fading of any paper for use with Epson's dye based printers.

Best for presentation/graphic printout
Epson makes great printer papers.I use Epson's matte paper almost as much as the regular inkjet paper. This paper is made for color presentation and graphic.I print out my portfolio and sample work with matte paper because it is relatively cheap to the high quality printout.I use the Epson 820 and the color print matches the monitor colors (98%) almost perfect.

For photo prints it is fine, but photos are simultaneous with glossy texture.If you like glossy photo then this is not the photo paper you would get.The colors do not jump at you nor have sharp deferential qualities that glossy can produce.Printing plain texts without color might be too wasteful (costly) for matte paper.I considered Epson the best in paper qualities over Canon, HP, Kodak and others for the quality/price.I have switched to the Canon i960 and am still using Epson's paper. It is that versatile.I tend to use the harder to find Epson double-side matte paper.

Just like a real photograph
I use this paper with an Epson Photo 960 using the "Premium glossy Photo Paper" option.It prints photos as nice as any Ive seen printed.These are great looking photos.Now if they could do something about the price.

Erroneous description
I found this paper on Amazon as an accessory to the Olympus Camedia P-400 Printer.This paper does NOT fit the P-400 because this paper is TOO wide.Thus, with the P-400, this paper is useless.

Great Paper for Canon s820

When I first started developing my own black and white prints almost 30 years ago I fell in love with Ilford pearl.More recently I switched to digital imaging and Ilford Smooth Pearl provides the same beautiful paper finish for ink jet printers that they provided for film developers.The paper has a great look and feel and is reistant to fading. Memorex 32020700 Jewel Case Inserts (50 Pack)
This is a nice product.However the software included is not that great.After receiving the product and seeing the paper type, I could have made my own jewel case inserts using card stock or plain computer paper.However the paper would have to be measured and cut to fit the jewel case.
If do not want to have to measure and cut your jewel case inserts then this product is for you.
2 star for the software included.
4 star for the jewel case inserts.

Easy to use
I bought this for a school project.The annual was producing it's own CD, and I needed packaging for it.These lables worked well, and were reasonably priced.Be careful when printing, as the side flaps are difficult to align.

works great..
After doing some looking around, I found this to be a very good bargin.The matte finish workes quite well, and the paper quality is very good as well.Looks professional. But before using, check your software.I followed the arrows printed on the sheets, and it ended up being printed up side down, and on the wrong end of the page.Not a problem with the product, just my lack of checking things out first.

After doing some looking, I purchased this product.It does work well, and the quantity enclosed is well worth the money.Just be careful of your software program so that you don't end up following the arrows on the individual sheets, and have the printouts being up-side down.This was my own fault for not reading before I got started.

Nice for home creations; not to be confused with Pro Labels
Although one will immediately get the impression that these are great, easy to use labels, digging deeper, they begin to reveal their problems. It seems as if with every other printing job, the alignment is off, even when used with a very professional and versatile printer. Works great!
As a bit of a research project I was looking at the reviews for the photo paper I use and was very surprised. I was so surprised that it prompted me to write my first amazon.com review ever. I have been using this paper for about four months now. I bought it when I bought my printer, an HP deskjet 3520. I have loved this paper. All of my photo's have come out crisp, clear, and true to color. Yes, there is a tab on the paper, but it is very easy to cut off. I have had no problems with fading, although it is still early and my pictures have not been exposed to direct sunlight and other photo faders. I would recomend this paper to anyone who prints 4x6 photos on their home computer.

A Junk and Ink waster
It is not worth using

2. Print on this paper are dull
3. Paper pops up the ink from some places, making white spots on picutre.

I started using the cannon photo pro papers and these are working well with my canon i860

Good value for the price.
There are better papers out there - but for your everyday shots and to share photos at a lesser price than the high quality papers, this is the paper to get.My pictures printed at home on a Lexmark printer/copier/scanner/fax machine turn out fine. And when I'm kicking out photos in volume, I'm looking for a bit of a bargain - this is it.

If you are looking to have pictures to frame or just special pictures you want to look great - look for a higher quality paper.

This paper is larger than the 4x6 that it says - allows for different styles of printers that start in different places. Easy to trim-even with just a plain old scissors.

What a joke
I bought these because I have an HP printer and figured they would be best for the shirts I want to make.I couldn't get them to take for anything in the world.I put the pressure on it, ironed them longer, everything you can think of and they still wouldn't take.Then when I finally got one to take it completely cracked and crumbled and started peeling off before an hour was up. It never made it to the wash, so now I am out the money I paid for them and still have no shirts.Any other brands you suggest instead?

The quality is really better!
I have tried both the HP paper and the Office Depot paper, and the HP paper sure has better quality.

Both of them were done with the same steps, and it ends up that Office Depot one started to come off after 1st or 2nd wash, while the HP one is still on there without a scratch.

Also, HP paper fits more to the fabric, which it will be harder to see it was an "iron-on", but the Office Depot one was very obvious.

I will give two thumbs up for the HP paper!

Iron-ons for shirts
I did a little more than the directions outline. I took longer with the ironing. I took 5 minutes to iron the items on. I pushed down hard when I did the ironing. My black and white iron on washed well. I washed the item inside out in the cold water. Dried it on gentle cycle and it came out fine. I just don't know how it will turn out after several washings. Let the printing completely dry before ironing it on. Take your time on ironing them. Take your time letting the iron on cool before peeling the paper off. It should work.

Don't even bother...
They're easy to use & they look great right up until you wash them the first time.Light t-shirt transfers crack & peel something awful, I've never known one to last more than one wearing.

If you're going to make a t-shirt, get the kind that says DARK t-shirt transfers.I've got a closet full of Office Depot & Avery brand Dark t-shirt transfers (many transfered onto white shirts) that look great and I wear them every weekend.It costs a little more, but they actually work, making it well worth the money.

Hey, it works...
and Amazon has a decent price compared to what I've seen elsewhere.

I'm using an Epson 1280 photo printer.The luster roll paper is very nice, and I think it's a significant improvement over the standard glossy paper.I find the glossy far too shiny (the glossy paper resembles glossy RC paper, while the matte is closer to Azo in finish).Each to their own taste, but I think for large prints a semimatte or matte finish is the way to go.

Loading roll paper is a bit painful, as it needs to be decurled at the end before it's loaded and the whole process wasn't terribly intuitive.It took a few tries the first time to get it loaded, but now it seems pretty easy.

Cutting the paper after it's been printed is a bit awkward, but the solution I found was to leave a 1-2" border at the end of the job,chop it off with some scissors (probably cutting it crookedly in the process) then cut it neatly later with a paper cutter.

I'm printing out very large (26" by 24") images, and so far it's worked great.I'm still learning some tricks to get two 13" prints merged together, but even my rough efforts so far look just fine... and it's a lot less expensive than a 36" printer.It's just a neat trick one can do with a borderless printer. ... Easy As 1-2-3
I was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews here, but decided to treat them like movie reviews and tried it myself.
This product was sooooo easy to use. I installed the software on my HP laptop in no time, and designed five labels.
I printed them, used the stomper and voila- even a child could do it.
The only drawback is you have to be careful when you reposition the text boxes. I printed one or two labels where the words ran off onto the waste section, but otherwise it was great. A steal at the price, really!

Mac software does not work *at all*
I bought it assuming the labeling stating Mac compatability was true.The software crashes every 5 seconds and is so far behind the PC version it's a joke.There is no download for any update on the website except for PC.The Mac version is at 3.4.2, while the PC version is up to 5.I had to build my own template in Illustrator.Nice labels, guys, but thanks for nothing.

Looks pretty but ruins discs
I've used CD Stomper for well over two years and I can attest that it is very easy to use.The software is intuitive and the labels look amazing on the CD (especially if you use the glossy labels with photographic level images.)I am a self proclaimed neat-nick and these labels have really dressed up my audio CD backups, software archive discs and DVD discs.Until recently I have been a devoted CD Stomper user and advocate.

BEWARE!The glossy labels will warp the disc over time.I've never used the thinner, matte labels so have no experience with them or their archival quality.I went to view a DVD archive that I had labeled about 18 months ago and the discs are warped beyond usability.Thinking it must be inferior media (Datawrite brand) I started to check my archived discs and older audio CDs.The media brands of these other discs include: Maxell, Memorex, Philips, Sony, and Verbatim.They all are exhibiting the warping to varying degrees all based on age.The longer the label is affixed to the disc, the more it will warp it.When pealing a label off the backing before it is applied you will notice an extreme curve toward the printed side.Who would guess that a piece of paper could exert enough force to bend a plastic CD?

You'll never go back to writing again!
For years, I've labeled my CDs/DVDs with a permanent marker. Now that I've ventured out and bought a CD/DVD labelmaker, I'm stunned at the results! It's very simple to follow the instructions given, or just trying things out 'trial and error'. Nothing's simpler than just putting in an image either you've made or a CD/DVD label you download online, then you press print and stick the label on the applicator and press! Viola - instant labels!

The only thing I've found is that all the labels included are matte/paper quality, anything more than that like glossy/photo quality is very expensive! Matte quality is standard and decent enough. I recommend having at least a good inkjet printer if you're going to print photos on the labels, they do soak up ink!

I highly recommend this product, it's quite addictive once you get the hang of it!!!

Mac software might not work for you
I find the product is usable on Mac OS 10.1.5
It crashes on opening in Mac OS 10.3
It has a few bugs, but I am very pleased by my final results.

great paper
i used this paper for a professional quality architecture portfolio, with high resolution images on both sides of the paper, and it came out great. took me two days to find a store that had it in stock, but well worth the hunt. and for the quantity and quality, well worth the price. definitely will use it again.

I also have used this paper for making family calendars this Christmas and found the quality excellent.It is not easy to find in stores.

Good deal for the price
I wanted to create calendars for our family. I found this a good deal for the printer (I have Lexmark Z54) and for the requirement. I had taken 5 calendars out of this and it works good for the double-side calendar. I could get an excellentfinish. Color rendering is perfect and I did not find any smudging or bloating. The thickness is fine enough for a double-sided output.

I also found Matte finish better than Glossy in case of inkjet printers, especially this one, the best.

20 pounds of great paper!
I love this paper, but isn't 20 pounds a bit too much paper?

Good, but maybe 6 or 7 sheets more would have been better
Lets get started! Everybody needs paper, even indians in peru ands people with no hands. why? Becauase at this price youd be an idiot not to buy it!! I thought it would cost so much to buy 500 sheets of paper, maybe in the region of $60-70. Think about it, 500 pages, thats nearly half of a thousand! If youre really awesome (unlikely) you could actually use the pages to write a book then sell it for $100 and be rich like Stephen Kang. I used most of the paper to print anti terrorist propaganda, not becauase i dont like terrorists, but cause i wanted to use up all 500 pages so i could buy more! But i digress, the only issue i had with the paper was that it comes in multiples of 100, something that ihave an inherent fear of. Oh and also ,its called multi purpose paper but it isnt really all that multi purposeful. Like yeah, you draw on it (check out my pencil reviews for the best one!!) but the paper cant be used to, say, fuel a lawnmower, or build a beautiul living russian bride etc. All in all, i was super pleased with this product, i really think paper>>> rainforests all the way after experiencing Hewlett-Packard (wot a name!! lol) Multipurpose paper, 81/2inx11in,20lb,92brightness,Ream of 500 sheets.
