paper, ink or printer problem?
I've tried just about every HP paper type together with my HP Deskjet 5655 to resolve smearing problems. A4 or Letter sized Premium Photo Paper Glossy or Plus Glossy will smear seriously. If you look at the prints you get a feeling that the color is building up on top of the paper rather than being absorbed by it. You can even feel it. And if you put water on it, you can wipe it practically white clean in 10 seconds. Doesn't matter if you wait 3 minutes or 3 months, result is the same.

However, make the same prints on 4x6in or 10x15cm HP Photo Paper, and they come out perfectly. You can even wash!!! the photos 10 seconds after printing and not a single trace of ink will come off. I blame the paper, but I'm starting to think that the HP printers only use the Photo Ink for small papers and that the regular Ink is used for large papers (I don't see any other pattern in my test results). I've wasted hundereds of dollars trying to get permanent printouts on Letter/A4 sized paper, but so far failed. I'm currently limited to using it for 4x6in printing only.

Excellent quality and high gloss shine...perfect for picture
FANTASTIC photo quality paper, but sheets stick together as they go through the HP printer.........other than the nusiance of having to reinsert the paper, this product is outstanding!!

Major Disappointment.
You can not get better color from your computer printer for pictures then by using Hewlett Packard Glossy Paper.HOWEVER
unless you live in 30% Relative Humidity year round it will wrinkle like a lasagna noodle.Bite the bullet and buy the much more expensive Premium PLUS Photo Paper unless you want to keep your pictures under glass or only show them in the winter.Please note, under glass does not mean in a frame, they will wrinkle there also.

Looks beautiful until you try to FOLD it
okay, so I bought this paper to produce tri-fold brochures. I will agree with the other reviewer that it prints beautifully. BUT - as soon as you try to fold it, it cracks and the top glossy layer of paper peels away like a bad sunburn. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PAPER AGAIN. I have tried it in every possible direction in my printer but it is just very poorly scored. Do yourself a favor - buy regular glossy paper for one third the cost and fold it yourself - I guarantee it will work better.

I like this size for my cards
This is the size that I choose for my quick family-type cards.I like the easy way this card folds up.It's a perfect media for sending a cousin a "pick-her-upper" fun-card.It's also a great media for grandkids because you can do them quick and colorful.No, you won't be competing with Hallmark with this card but because of the ease of putting it together you can have a lot of fun with these.

Adequate for only the most personal of projects
For quarter-fold cards, these are completely adequate.In fact, Amazon's price and low shipping cost means that you'll come out ahead over buying at most retail outlets.

The product's major flaw is precisely that they_are_ quarter-fold cards.You'll rarely find a quarter-fold at a cardshop--especially not made out of heavy card stock--because they're bulkyand impermanent.They're twice as thick as the more standard two-foldcards.And if you can fold them, your recipient can unfold them.Thisdestructability fairly screams "I was made on a computer in someone'shome office."

So why do so many people buy this product?I guessbecause the sheets are the same size as North American letter paper, they"feel" familiar.Maybe, as well, the format is a hold-over fromthe 1980s, when dot matrix printers reigned, and there was no otherconvenient way to make cards but by quad-folding. Or perhaps it's becausea two-fold card in the small invitation size is rarely (if ever) availableat most retail locations.

Good value but...
I was happy with this paper until I got the Ilford Galerie Smooth Gloss paper and it can not compare.Good value at Costco which used to sell it in a pack of 100 for $20 but for eye popping results go with Canon or Ilford glossy paper.More expensive but you get what you pay for.

Best photo paper value on the market!
I shot about 4.000 pictures within the last 3 months and printed over 1.200 of them. What paper do I use? This is one! It is my absolute favorite! Not only do I achieve an unbelievable color accuracy and picture quality but also the price is unbeatable! Sure, there are papers out there that are thicker and have a glossier finish but why would you want pay twice as much for that? Or more importantly, why do you need thicker paper and a glossier finish? 50 sheets for about $15 is as good as it gets! Generally I recommend Epson paper over HP, Kodak and Canon. Stay away from Staples and Hammermill paper. I use a HP 7760 printer and a Sony F717 camera.

OK for non critical volume printing
I have never been a big fan of Epson papers, this one is
no exception. Has a tendency to deform even under 200 ppi.

Great Stuff
The labeling system works like a charm.To the other person riffing on the applicator, I can't see why that's the case.

This kit a dummy proofed and I get no air bubbles at all.SInce the labels go all the way to the center, the cd/dvd plastic center groove goes down a little bit.So you have to press the label around the very center.Again, this ain't the labeling systems fault, but the way the way cd/dvds are made.The labels are still stuck well in the center, but needs a loving touch to get it stuck even harder.

The labels stick VERY well!It's very difficult to get it to slide off.This is improtant b/c a dvd player can heat up and melt the label right off.So far, no problems with this label.

My only grouch is that these labels are expensive. Plus, my laser printer ink (Samsung) doesn't quite penetrate the white matte labels enough.When I use my finger to press the center of the printed white matte label, the ink transfers to my hand a little bit.

I'm going to try now the glossies to see if the ink from my printer stays on better.

Regardless, the system is the BEST.In addition, they're the only ones that makes a system to cover the very center...which looks GREAT with picture prints by the way.

I just wish these labels were cheaper!

The best
I use all of the Afterburner labels and no other labels will do! These things are great!I don't even use the labeler thingey. In daylight, I just put the CD/DVD in its case and eyeball it at the center hole. Any bubbles that happen are easy to press out. The only problem I've had is that the printer ink doesn't adhere to the metallic labels as well as the matte or glossy labels; the print can be accidentally rubbed or scraped off.

I guess
I guess people in Santa Monica aren't able to use simple devices such as the Afterburner, because it's clearly the best labeling solution out there.It's easy to get no bubbles.Just practice your motor skills.I recommend either playing catch with a tennis ball (that way it hurts less when you and your motor skill-lacking Santa Monica friends have at it) or maybe hitting the mini-golf course for refinement with that tricky hand-eye coordination.Good luck.As for the labeler, folks, go and get it.The labeler and its labels work just fine.

Flawed Applicator
The labels are a great idea.They are the only labels in stores right now that print all the way down to the hole in the middle of your CD.Unfortunately they only work with the Afterburner Applicator which is poorly designed.It's the flexible gizmo that takes a lot of practice to use correctly and even then it prone to air-bubbling and difficult to get perfectly aligned and centered on your CD hole. ... Sipix A6 Sheets Are Better Than A6 Roll
I carry the Sipix A6 printer -- and a box of Sipix A6 paper (sheets) -- with me in my briefcase.

Having to feed the sheets one-at-a-time into the printer is a little inconvenient.But the documents, once printed and stapled together (with the mini-stapler I carry with me), are much easier to read and file than with the A6 roll paper.
