4-0 out of 5 stars Professional Looking Pictures From Home
I have tried several other brands of paper to print pictures on from home.NONE compare to the quality photos you get with this Canon Paper. They look as good as any pictures you get professionally developed at any store. As for the shipping charges, if you view the New and Used selections, you will find you ARE able to order directly from Amazon and recieve the free shipping, Amazon is just very slighty (LESS THAN A DOLLAR) more expensive, PLUS you save on shipping.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing Results
When I first purchased my photo printer I decided to test several different brands of photo paper so I could compare the results. This was by far the best photo paper off them all.The pictures turned out crisp and clear, as if I got them professionally developed.Don't waste your time trying other photo paper....I assure you you won't get better results!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful.. best photo paper out there
This paper is wonderful. Looks better or as good as Kodak real photo processing. Can't tell the difference from real photos from ones printed on this paper on a Canon i860 printer.

Tried Kodak paper for printing and prints looked washed out... even in Best quality mode using Kodak or Canon software. Printing in normal mode, default printing, photos come out beautiful on the Canon paper using the Canon Easy Photo Print. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best to buy original HP
I bought a refurbished cartridge and it didn't work.

Best to buy original HP cartridge whether you buy it from Amazon or a private individual.

1-0 out of 5 stars economies of scale in reverse
It's cheaper to buy two one packs than this bundle.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Price For Efficient Cartridges
This bundle contains two HP 56 black (C6656AN) cartridges used on many common HP DeskJet printers. As I am in graduate school, I use my printer a lot (about 1,000 pages a month of mostly black and white pages.) I typically use a cartridge every three weeks or so, which seems very good to me. I have enabled some ink saving features on the printer, although the quality of the printed pages still seems excellent to me.

I am very impressed with these cartridges, and Amazon's price is the best I have found. One feature that I like is that HP is now putting business reply mail return envelopes for returning old cartridges for recycling. As an aside, on my printer I get a low ink warning long before the printing is visibly degraded, so I tend to print until I can see the ink fading, which may account for me getting more copies per cartridge than others seem to.

I like the HP printer line, and recommend an HP DeskJet with appropriate cartridges for efficient and reasonably priced printing, especially to relatively high volume home users.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good home office color printer
I've had this printer for a few weeks. It produces great quality prints, especially on nicer (photo) paper. I like the small footprint, design of the printer, speed, and quality. Lexmark has a great environmental policy. You can send empty cartridges to the company for recycling. They also have both normal and high-yield cartridges. For a little extra money, you can get twice the number of prints.

Cons: It does drain the electricity--expect house lights to flicker! It was disturbing at first, but I'm used to it now. The printer is loud when it operates, silent when powered down. The duplex option is expensive, if you need that functionality. You'll also need to buy another paper feeder for larger paper sizes.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased. I'm on a Macintosh system and had no trouble with drivers or set up. I would research and buy other Lexmark products if they received favorable reviews. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to use. Prints beautiful photos
I found this photo printer easy to set up and use. The driver installed on my PC in a few minutes and I was up and running. My digital camera uses SD memory and this printer accepts the memory cards for printing photos. One time I selected the wrong photo and it was easy to cancel the print job by hitting the print cancel button on the printer. I have printed photos and even used the black text to print memos and Excel spreadsheets.I really can't believe how much this printer does for such a low price. Highly recommended.

If you print with HP's recommended paper you get brilliant photo prints. I tried a 4x6 photo and it came out looking great.

Only downside.....this printer does not have a LCD photo preview screen on the printer. If you want to preview your photos you can do so on your PC or camera before printing. Some printers like the HP PhotoSmart 8150 have a photo preview screen which would be nice to have. All things considered, the HP 7450 is a great buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Another awful HP printer
I have went through a frustrating run of HP printers, and this model will be the final one I will ever buy. I used to enjoy the dependability of an HP printer, but lately every one I have purchased has malfunctioned in some way shortly if not right out of the box.

This printer offers a decent amount of function for the price, however, it repeatedly wasted at least two sheets of paper with noise every time I turned my computer on...a problem I have had with several HP printers. After this, it began to kick out paper at random and print starting in the middle of the page. If this printer actually operated as advertised, it would be a nice deal for the money. As it, I would recommend going with an Epson if at all possible. I will do so in the future.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Printer for the Price

1-0 out of 5 stars Ink sucking monster
I had originally bought this printer to replace a defective HP, thinking that the photo quality would be better. I was wrong. The problems began on day one. Being a photo idiot, I usually simply print from the internal windows picture viewer. With this printer, that colors were all over the map. I now have to go through Photoshop to print out anything with colors, brightness and contrast even remotely resembling the original. Utterly infuriating.

Even more infuriating is finding out that the ink is costing me an arm and a leg. The ink runs out at an incredibly fast rate, and when one goes dry, YOU CAN'T PRINT ANYTHING! Argh! Almost ninety bucks to refill the darned thing. At a local (major) electronics shop, they were selling refurb units of this printer for less than the price of the ink. Since I had to buy new ink anyways, I bought the unit, used the factory new ink cartridges for mine, and had the pleasure of beating the crap out of the refurb unit with a sledgehammer. Saved a couple of bucks in the deal and vented my frustration at Epson at the same time.

No more refills. Next time it runs out, this unit goes in the trash and the ninety bucks can go a long way towards buying me a new HP printer.

2-0 out of 5 stars not that great
I have had this printer for just over a year and I must say that I am not all that impressed. All the photos I print (from several different programs) are all dark.I constantly have problems loading DVDs into the printer.Just yesterday it took me 8 attempts to successfully print 1 DVD.And this thing eats ink.

4-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful prints, ink problem
I've heard some complaints that people have had to greatly tweak the settings to get the printout color accurate.I've never encountered this problem, but I HAVE encountered a different issue.

I've purchased 3 sets (18 cartridges) of ink since I bought this printer. One set was generic, the other two sets were genuine Epson.I have had a serious problem with diminishing print quality. With the generic set, my ink warning light came on, telling me to replace the cartridge. When I took the cartridge out to replace it, I could feel (and hear when I shook it), that the cartridge was still half-full of ink.

Another SERIOUS issue regarding ink supply, is I've been having to clean the print heads before and after every print job.It all started when I printed a photo and a HUGE drop of cyan ink landed right in the center of the image as I was printing. The rollers then smudged and dragged the drop all over the printout.I cleaned the print heads but the real problem was the ROLLERS.They were all covered with cyan ink and no matter how much I cleaned the print heads, I was still getting cyan-colored ink lines on all my printouts.I had no choice but to open the top and go in with alcohol swabs and Q-Tips, and slowly remove all the ink from the rollers.

Then it happened when I was printing on CDs/DVDs.I put the tray in properly and the printer was telling me I was low on black in.I began printing and walked away. When I came back, I had a CD with a huge glob of black, streaky ink ALL over the CD and all over the CD tray used to print with.I had to throw away the CD and soak the tray in soapy water... and go back into the printer with alcohol swabs and Q-Tips and clean the rollers off again because now they were coated with black ink.

I've since thrown out about 8 DVDs and 4 CDs because of this problem.Who wants to keep a streaky, blotchy DVD?Even if I'd wanted to keep it, the ink seemed like it would take 3 days to dry properly because it was such thick globs that had seemingly fallen out of the ink cartridge. It's as though the cartridge has lost its vacuum and all the ink was falling out when the print head opened. The ink dried in clumps that you could actually peel off - like when latex paint drips off the side of the can it comes in.

I've since replaced ALL the ink cartridges with genuine Epson ones and I've carefully cleaned all the rollers.I have not have the leaky ink problem as of yet but I am getting dull stripes across my printouts, like the printer forgot to throuroughly print in that spot.I'm hoping I can correct this with more head cleaning and nozzle checking.

If you're going to buy this printer - don't take the chance with generic ink cartridges. It seems like you'll save money but in actuality, you'll spend more time cleaning up the mess it causes and you may have to buy a new printer in the end.I don't know if that's what caused my problem but it seemed to all start with the use of the generic cartridges. They're set up differently than geniune Epson brand cartridges. They have a hole in the top of the cartridge that is covered by a label. You must peel off the label before inserting the cartridge in the printer and you can hear a *hiss* noise as you reveal the hole - almost as though you're releasing the vaccuum that keeps the ink in.That scared me from the start and I think that could be where my problem lies.

Hope I've helped.

5-0 out of 5 stars Epson R300
I do like this printer and I have a Mac running OSX 10.3.The R300just turns out superior prints--as simple as that.I didn't have any problems installing it and it's worked like a dream from day one. The blacks are black--and the colors great.I also use Adobe Photoshop and the colors are pretty true. I did purchase the Blue Tooth dongle for wireless printing but for photos that's way too slow.I have not tried other types of wireless printing. This is just a great overall printer--.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT very Mac-friendly!
I have wasted much of two weekends trying to get this sucker to run on a network with two Macs (one wired, one wireless) and a PC (wireless) and a Buffalo print server box.Oh, I had the PC printing in minutes. It's the Mac part that has been the nightmare. The "geniuses" at the Apple Store were of no use whatsoever -- their only solution was to buy a brand new Apple base station, and from what I've learned since, I have no confidence that this would work either.I've written to the black hole known as Epson tech support, and have heard NOTHING back.
The problem is that there are no Mac OS drivers from Epson for the R300 allowing access across a network. In doing an "Add Printer" on Mac OS X, you look at the popup list of printer drivers, and yup, there's HP, and Canon, and even Lexmark, but no Epson. There's "ESP", which I learn stands for a third party entity, and there are some highly cryptic generic Epson options there. But so far, I've only gotten Postscript commands, junk, or nothing at all to be emitted.I found a web reference to some guy who managed to get the thing working, sort of, in some kind of kluidgy way, but now he was down to tweaking deep-innards settings to keep printouts from looking not-quite-so-horrible.Mac users, be warned! ... Canon Pixma iP3000 Photo Printer

It produces up to 22 pages per minute (ppm) in black and up to 15 ppm in color, and a beautiful 4-by-6-inch borderless print takes only 36 seconds (highest-speed mode, ideal conditions). Plus, you have the convenience of direct photo printing: simply connect any PictBridge-compatible digital camera or DV camcorder, and print. This PC-free process eliminates the need to be tied to your computer, saving you time.

But the Pixma iP3000 Photo Printer isn't just fast. It also achieves impressive detail and clarity as a result of Canon's Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE). This technology features an upgraded 1,600-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets as small as 2 picoliters, for amazing photo-realism. This high-efficiency printer also uses a specially formulated black ink for laser-like text on reports and letters, along with high-intensity color inks for brilliant photos and graphics. Your borderless photos, from 4 by 6 up to 8.5 by 11 inches will have the look and feel of traditional photographs.

Canon Think Tank System
To help reduce printing costs, this efficient system has four individual ink tanks that let you replace only the color that runs out, rather than an entire cartridge containing unused ink. Plus, a unique low-ink sensor alerts you when ink levels are low, so you are prepared to just drop in a new tank when needed.

Features:

  • Up to 22 ppm black, up to 15 ppm color
  • Dual paper path with built-in two-sided printing
  • Maximum 4,800 x 1,200 color dpi resolution with microscopic droplets as small as 2 picoliters

5-0 out of 5 stars Yes, there *is* a difference in digital cables!
Here we go again with the Monster vs. Cheap'o Cable debate. I love that this guy hasn't even tried the product, yet he slams it in not one but two "reviews". They aren't reviews, they are his personal opinion, which I (and many others believe to be incorrect). Instead he seems to be pushing another brand--interesting to me, wonder what his motives are?

Is Monster overpriced? Perhaps the quality Monster 800, 1000 and higher items are at full retail. Do you get the exact same quality from cheaper cables? No. I sell products online and currently have hundreds of different cables that I have personally tested. Is there a quailty difference in Monster? Yes, with digital it is harder to see but anyone who runs long cables, unplugs them regularly or runs a decent amount of digital connections normally WILL notice the difference in quailty vs cheap'o cables.

The biggest issue for many customers I talk with and many cheaper digital cables I test is the connections. Quality cables don't crimp/break/fall apart like the cheap ones. This is hugely important with digital signals because you either get a strong signal or you don't and once that cheap cable has crimpped or had issues on the connection, it is worthless. Some of these cheaper brands have lifetime warranties, but if you have to be without your cable for weeks at a time, while paying $10ish to ship it, it isn't worth it.

I personally stopped testing my high end cables like this Monster 400 because I haven't seen one fail yet. Now I do see issues with the cheaper Monster THX 100 cables, but that is another review...:)

Do I work for Monster? No. Does anyone I know work for Monster? No. Have I ever gotten any Monster Brand items for free? No, I do watch for sales or opened items, but I have paid for every Monster item I own.

1-0 out of 5 stars Look for the HDMI Logo
An update to my previous review:

There is a wealth of information on the HDMI industry homepage
Have a look at the Manufacturer and Consumer pages

In order for HDMI cable manufacturers to display the "HDMI" logo a licensing process must be successful. This process includes tests so that the cable meets the HDMI standard.

From the website:
Does HDMI accommodate long cable lengths?
Yes. HDMI technology has been designed to use standard copper cable construction at long lengths.. Cable manufacturers are expected to sell REASONABLY PRICED copper cables at lengths of up to 15 meters.

If it's good enough for the HDMI logo then its good enough for you. One of the brands selling at 1/5th the cost of Monster on Amazon is Molex. They are a licensed HDMI manufacturer... please check out their website also.

My personal opinion and experience is to buy even non-licensed cables but to make sure you are buying a quality product look for the HDMI logo on a licensed manufacturer's cable.

1-0 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy Expensive HDMI cables
HDMI cables transmit DIGITAL signals to your TV/Monitor/Projector unlike analog cables such as RCA Component / S-Video or Composite.

HDMI DIGITAL signals cannot "lose signal strength" nor can they drop the quality of your picture.

If you have a Digital A/V Receiver you might have already used DIGITAL cables in the form of optical or coaxial connections.

Do not fall for enticing words such as "Gold-Plated / High Resolution / High Bandwidth" buy the cheapest HDMI cable you can find!

$100+ for !@#$* cables... and you thought going to a used car lot was painful.... ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

Monster Cable's Monster Standard THX component-video cable offers a THX-certified video connection between, for instance, progressive-scan DVD players and compatible televisions. Its four-foot length is perfect for moderately long runs from source to monitor (or AV receiver) without undue signal loss.

DVD players, satellite receivers, and other devices use high-performance delivery methods like S-video, component-video, and digital-audio transmission, and high-quality cables are more important than ever for getting the most out of these technologies. That's why THX, a leader in sound-quality certification for movie theaters, collaborated with Monster Cable to create connection standards specifically for home theater. The cables supplied with your entertainment components don't meet Monster THX standards. Some of the connections you need don't even come in the box, including component-video.

Although Monster Standard THX cable doesn't feature many of the advanced technologies found in its higher-performance product lines, it still packs plenty of Monsterous features, like high-quality gold-tip connecters and color-coded tips for easy, error-free hookup. (And dig the stylish, futuristic connector design inspired by Lucasfilm's Star Wars epics!) ... Read more

Features

  • Meets minimum THX certification standards for proper system performance, reliability and ease of installation.
  • Uses three cables to send color signal separately for improved picture.
  • Easy to identify color-coded bands for simple, error-free hookup.
  • High-density double shielding for maximum rejection of RFI and EMI.
  • 24k gold contacts for optimum signal transfer and corrosion resistance.

5-0 out of 5 stars What an upgrade
Well - I don't have too many details - all I can say is that I used to have the cables out of the box, and now I have this cable. The disparity between the picture quality before and after is flat out ridiculous.

I am viewing DVDs on a relatively small (26" phillips widescreen) TV, and I can only imagine that the difference on a larger TV will be even more pronounced.

This is close to being the best discretionary expenditure I have made in my life.

One word of warning.Make sure that your DVD player is not set to S-Cable output, since the picture will be atrocious (all red and grainy), until you switch it to "component video"

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Cable and not too expensive.
I bought several of these cables to hook up a High Definition TV and a Progressive Scan DVD player.

The quality is great and I've had no problems.Four feet is really all you need if you store your Video appliances (TV/Cable Box/DVD) close together.(There is also an 8-ft version if you need something longer.)

Although supposedly it is only a "standard" Monster Cable, I can't believe that you'd see any difference in quality by buying a pricier cable.I would bet the main difference is in durability -the more expensive cable is a little thicker and probably has slightly higher quality components. After all, you have to meet certain quality standards to qualify for THX certification.(That being said I would not purchase any cable below these standards -why would you want to pay for a COMPONENT level cable that did not allow DVDs to be played the way they were optimized for?)

What does THX certification mean? Below is a blurb taken directly from the THX website describing it:
---
"THX is on the forefront of entertainment technology, offering products and services of unparalleled quality for post-production, distribution and playback of audio and visual content. THX Certification is considered a mark of excellence in the presentation technology industry, offering consumers a promise that the cinemas they visit and the products they purchase have been evaluated and tested to meet the highest standards for picture and sound performance."

Overall, a great cable for a decent price.

5-0 out of 5 stars great
the cables are great they are very strong but bendable at thesame time also look cool and most importantly the give a great piture actualy i havent compared it to anything bet i had a component for my ps2 now i have it for my xbox and the the dvds look a lot better with monster cables for my xbox than normal sony component hook up for my ps2 the cables are overall great and the colors really look more real and alive and if u notice with normal av cables u see color mixing and the backgrounds look fuzzy (kinda) and component get rid of 99% (rarely u see a very little color fade or something in a couple of movies in the wrold) and it uses 3 anlog cables for video instead of the 1 anlog that is standerd so u colud say it makes the picture 3x better

5-0 out of 5 stars Why are there no other reviews?
Why hasen't any else reviewed this great product? Anyways I got my component cable a few days again and can certainly say I notice a great improvment in video quality over my previous S-Video connection. You can certainly tell the difference in the action packed DVD's like Xmen,Spiderman,Terminator and such. But in movies like Bruce Almighty you may not notice the difference.
These are definitely worth the cost. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice printer but no support from Sony
Nice quality prints and good features.Paper and ribbons are expensive and can be hard to find.Shipped drivers have problems with some usb cards, no newer drivers are available. In fact, there are NO drivers available for download from Sony's web site. They just don't seem to have any support online for this printer, period.

4-0 out of 5 stars So farSo good
I've had this printer for about 6 weeks.I do think it's strange that it doesn't come with ink and paper but I was warned before I bought it.I do find the prink packs a little hard to find and too pricy on sony's website but the printer itself is wonderful and fairly simple.I love the quality of the photos, I think they're comparable to other regular 1 hour photo shops.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stay as far away from this as you can
After struggling with the reliability of several Epson InkJet printers, I decided it was worth investing in what I thought was the high-end picture printer- the Sony dye-sub.After a couple weeks it wouldn't print and had to go back to Sony for a 6 week repair job.Now it works, but the print quality is horrible. The pictures are dull and the color is horrible. Background scenese are just blobs of color and there is no contrast whatsoever. If have since bought a Canon i560, which I intended to just use for day to day document printing. But I've compared the same picture coming from both and it is night and day -- the bubble jet that costs less and does more functions prints 2-3 times better. The pictures are sharp, the contrast is great, and the dullness does not exist.I'd suggest staying as far away from this Sony as possible -- it's a rip off and you can do MUCH better with a good Inkjet or Bubblejet.

4-0 out of 5 stars First impressions for the Sony DPP-EX50
One of the first things I noticed upon opening up and unpacking the box, was that Sony does NOT include any ink (ribbon) or paper for this printer in the box.Not even one sheet. So, to avoid disappointment about not being able to immediately start using the printer, make sure you buy one of the ink/paper packages too.

The included software is "so-so".Sony's included photo application is rough, and I fell into fatal errors with it quite easily.Their photo application works directly with the printer, bypassing Window's printer drivers, which brings me to my next software comment.

It also includes a printer driver for Windows that allows other applications, presumably for photos, to print using the DPP-EX50.However, while it worked, it had a little annoying problem where the image was slightly off centered. This results in "borderless" prints actually getting a thin white border on the bottom and right sides.I found no way around this bug, including trying to manual re-size the image slightly larger, and trying to move it slightly down/right.

While the DPP-EX50 prints absolutely wonderful pictures, I am patiently waiting for Sony to release some software fixes.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Portable Printer
If you're going to a wedding or birthday party and want to leave some prints for the celebrants, the EX50 is a great toy to have. You can print up to 4x6 with very high quality on smudge-free paper - and for its intended use, that's important. You can print directly from Memory Stick or Compact Flash, or you can strap it to your laptop and work that way.You can use the video out jack to view the images on a TV.All this in a compact little package for about $180 - not cheap but this is a good quality tool. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars My apologies
I wish to retract my criticism of the antenna which I recently submitted.I thought that I had a problem with the antenna, when in fact I needed to reset my HD receiver box.The antenna is now working quite well and I am very pleased.Sorry Terk HDTV.

2-0 out of 5 stars Failed after 6 months
I purchased the antenna 6 months ago and had great difficulty positioning it for the best reception.I finally settled on a outdoor site under the eave, however, reception was only fair.
After six months the antenna stopped receiving HD signals.

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor Performance, get a traditional UHF antenna instead
The TV55 performed very poorly pulling in only 2 digital stations.Using unamplified rabbit ears, I got 6 digital stations.I really cannot understand why it performed so poorly.

Instead, I purchased a traditional UHF antenna (Radio Shack #15-2160 $24 with transformer #15-1140 $3.50) and got 14 stations with the antenna in my attic.

I think the real problem is not lack of signal strength, it is a problem of multi-path interference. The TV55 is not a very directional antenna. So I think it was getting a signal directly from the TV tower and a second signal that was bounced off of something. The second signal is delayed and conflicts with the first. The result is the the Samsung SIR-T351 HDTV receiver does not know what to do with this signal. In other words, good signal strength, but bad signal quality.

The RadioShack antenna is more directional. So it doesn't get this bounced seond signal. The result is a solid signal and good image on the TV set.
I am only 7 miles from the broadcast towers, so perhaps I am especially prone to multipath problems.Your experience might be different.
However, I cannot recommend this antenna.Try a traditional UHF antenna to receive HDTV.

5-0 out of 5 stars Satisfied with the HP 2300n LaserJet Printer
I've had my HP 2300n LaserJet printer for 8 months, and I'm very satisfied with it. It's my second HP LaserJet. My first was a LaserJet IIID which I bought in 1992 and still use today. I wouldn't have bought the 2300n except that some movers handled my IIID roughly and damaged the duplexing unit which I had been using almost constantly. It really saves paper and file space to print on both sides.

When not in use, the 2300n goes into a power-down mode which is silent and makes it seem to be turned off except that an indicator light lets you know it's still on. Send a print job to it while powered down and it immediately springs to life and processes the task just as if it had not been powered down at all. This is a great feature because the machine does not wear itself out whirring away, making noise and using energy as the IIID does when not turned off.

The 2300n is fast. The IIID's speed of 8ppm was considered fast when I bought it, but after getting used to 25ppm, I'd hate to give it up. The 2300n prints at a pace I associate more with photocopiers.

My IIID had excellent print quality until last year, about 11 years after I bought it. The output has become dirty. It needs cleaning and servicing, but that's not practical now, especially considering that I live far from a service center and my 12 year-old IIID printer weighs 75 pounds.

By comparison, the thirty-one pound 2300n is much easier to lift and move. I also like the fact that it takes up much less space than the IIID does, and it doesn't have those paper trays protruding out of it. The paper is nicely tucked away inside, where it should be, in an easy to open drawer. To accomplish this, the machine is intelligently designed to be slightly taller which is not a problem at all, just a better use of space.

The IIID has only 300 dpi resolution which is fine for text, but not so fine for graphics. The 2300n prints beautiful graphics, not in color, of course, but when I want color, I use an inkjet. When I want to print a picture with the 2300n, the high resolution is very nice.

I'm still using the toner cartridge that came with the shipped unit, but I keep a spare cartridge on hand. A great feature of the 2300n is the economical printing mode. I can easily turn this feature on and off (from within the Windows XP printing menu) and make my toner supply last longer. Unlike with the IIID, which also has an adjustment for toner consumption, with the 2300n, the econo-mode feature takes effect immediately. It makes the print lighter, but it's still quite readable and appropriate for those times when dark print quality is not needed.

Whenever I think of my HP 2300n LaserJet, I always get a nice feeling. I can't think of anything I don't like about it. It takes up little space, It's fast, It duplexes, It's economical with time, energy and toner, It's quiet, It networks, It has wireless capability, It's plug and play, It has an easy to use control panel on the front, and I feel confident that it will perform whenever I call on it.

I've come to trust the Hewlett Packard name for quality and performance. I teach English at a university in Japan where I write and print a lot of educational materials. Sometimes I make workbooks and print them in my office. I need a workhorse of a printer I can depend on to produce clean clear results. If my 2300n holds up only half as well as my old IIID did, I'll still be very satisfied. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this package! Here's why...
According to the Denver Post, Monster Cable has been suing many companies with the word "Monster" in its title, including Disney (Monsters, Inc.), and Snow Monster (a company that teaches children how to ski). This is purely a greed-driven, corporate money-grab. Big businesses, like Disney, will find it cheaper to settle, while the suit will sink smaller businesses unable to afford the legal fees. Consumers have called a boycott on the Monster Cable company.

Furthermore, the cables are junk - and they break a lot, and are not worth the money. Like the other reviewer said, cheap cables will work just fine, for about a 10th of the price!

1-0 out of 5 stars That's it?A $6 dollar cable and a $14 cable?
I was very disappointed when I received this to see that it was simply a package of two cables.Cables that you can pick up at Radio Shack for MUCH cheaper.Just ridiculous. The Airport Express itself is fantastic, but skip this accessory and go to your local Radio Shack for the mini-RCA cable, and a quick search online for the optical to mini.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not needed
Cheaper to go to Radio Shack or most stereo stores and get exactly what you want of equal quality at a lower price.

4-0 out of 5 stars Completes the set for your Airport Express
The cable set that comes in this item is what ought to have been included in the Airport Express. This comes with a 2 meter RCA-ministereo, a 2 meter Optical-ministereo, and a 6ft power cable.I found that both the RCA and Optical cables worked flawlessly with my receiver.I wish that the power cable was a little longer and I would've liked to have received a white ethernet cable to complete this set.The installation of any of these cable went very easily with the on caveat that you must ensure to remove the covers on the optical cable which may not be obvious to some. ...
