Sound good / Design bad
This headset has really good sound on the mic and also on the headset. But it's very uncomfortable to use. It's always slipping because the headset is not adjustable. I returned mine for a .90 Plantronics model.

Great Headset,
I got this headset for Chrsitmas, and I have not been dissapointed.
I use this headset for gaming, because I play counter-strike. I must say that the behind-the-head design is very comfy, even though
I have a smaller head. I have had this headset for over three months, adn I must say that they are not damaged at all. Just try to avoid crushing the headset!In my experiance, the microphone works very well, and the sound is great. This product is a great bang for your buck!
I give this product 4 stars because of one flaw.. If you bump the mute control where the volume is, it is likely that the volume will change drastically by getting caught on your chair. This has happened many times in my experiance, but overall I highly recommend this headset, and I think that it is well worth the price.

this should be sold by Toys R Us
Sleek design, nice colors, practical mute button and in-line volume control as well as two jacks. But I plugged this thing into my laptop and even with all volume controls maxed out, I could hear someone humming in the room. Where is all that powerful sound they were braggin' about ? Maybe that's just me. The other flagrant thing is that the rigid behind-the-head thing is way too wide for me eventhough I have a big head. Hence the headset will slide to rest on the back of your neck with the microphone poiting to the ceiling. Gets on my nerves.

A good headset for multimedia
I spend several hours a day working on multimedia, listening audio, recording voice, and also chatting.Although this product is cheap, it has resulted very appropriate for my job.The strap is rigid and big, so naturally it slides down behind your neck, but this position resulted very comfortable for me, and I can use it during several hours without any inconvenience.Stereo sound and microphone quality are excelent.Inline controls and clip are very handy.I hate having plastic or metal supports above my head, and this was the solution.

Not bad as a basic headset
A couple of weeks ago, I bought this headset to replace my old one, which had broken. It's a pretty standard behind-the-head type with a microphone. So far, I like it fairly well for light use such as Internet audio streaming, some music (mostly classical), and gaming. The audio quality is decent, and the ergonomics are OK. Essentially, I have to hook them behind my ears. The strap itself isn't adjustable, and it does indeed have a tendency to drop down. This keeps the earpieces from having good contact on the ears themselves and thus reduces the audio quality. I haven't used the microphone yet, so its performance is unknown to me. If you think of yourself as anything approaching an audiophile, you know that a headset in this range isn't going to do the trick. Fair but not good
I had a number of problems with this product. It didn't fit in my ear very well, wasn't particularly comfortable, people complained that I sounded like I was on a speaker phone, the inline volume control should have had a mute button, the inline volume control was kind of heavy (because of the batteries), and the thing looked ugly.

It broke not long ago and wasn't worth getting replaced. It got binned instead and I don't miss it, but now I am looking for a good replacement.

very dissapointed
I used this headset about 3 times before I got tired of the complaints from the other end of the phone.People complained that they could not hear me, or that I was not coming through clearly enough.I used it with the amplifier.

I also found the build quality to be very poor.Trying to turn the volume control thumbwheel was not easy.In short, I should return them, but not worth the return shipping.They're now at the bottom of my junk drawer...

Good Headset - but caution to Treo 600 owners
I bought this headset to use with my Treo 600. When I got the first one, I thought it was defective - I got no sound at all. The good people at Amazon sent me a replacement right away at no charge, and the new one ALSO had no sound. This made me suspicious, and looking very carefully, I could see that the indention around the jack receptacle on the Treo is just a tiny, tiny bit too small and interfered with the plastic base of the plug on the headset - thus preventing complete insertion. Really pushing it in HARD got me a connection - but the final solution was an xacto knife. The plug is molded of very soft plastic, and I just trimmed perhaps 1mm of material from the edge of the plug, and now it fits great.

The performance is good - it fits your ear securely due to its design - the eargels are a personal matter of preference - and I also never use the battery power (it's quite loud enough without it), although I wish the battery didn't have to be inserted for it to work (the weight is a bit bothersome). Overall, I like this headset, and have been using it over all my others since I got it. Recommended - but for Treo owners, prepare to do a little bit of trimming to assure ease of use.

Best I've found.... so far
This is my third headset and the best of the bunch so far.

Things I like about the Jabra Proboom:
1. Ear wrap actually fits my ear.My first headset practically crushed my ear and was uncomfortable for conversations of over 5 minutes.My second headset is just the opposite, it won't stay put, and I have big ears.
2. Sound quality is good on Lo setting (not amplified) and with volume turned to max.
3. Apparently sound quality from boom microphone is good, according to the people I have called.

Things I don't like about the Jabra ProBoom:
1. The mid-cord volume control.I'd like to chop it right out.Pretty worthless.I don't need the battery amplification, (Hi setting).The built-in volume control distorts.From what I can tell, turning the volume all the way up is pretty much a pass-thru.Lowering the volume distorts the sound, the more you lower the more distortion.You'll probably do what I do and leave it turned up and use the volume control on your phone.

Love It!
I love this earpiece because it is so much more comfortable than other models. The ear piece itself is smaller than other models so it doesn't pinch or ache. I can wear it for hours at a time. Ok.. i bought this recently and to my surprise its not compatible with nokia 6600..thats my phone. So i did a little research and found the product manual online ( i have submitted it to amazon..so should appear sometime). A Great PC Headset
EDIT: This review is based on the American version of the same product.However, if the two versions are similar enough, my rating should stay the same.

Just as a first hand note, my rating is based on the price range for this item. This has good audio quality, both out through the headphones and in through the microphone. This obviously isn't a high-quality audiophile-wooing headset, but I'd say it has sound plenty good for anything you may want to use it for on a day to day basis (that includes music). The headset is very comfortable, and is easily adjustable to fit even up to the largest heads. The microphone is nicely placed, and is adjustable as well, though somewhat awkwardly compared to the headset itself. The microphone can also fold up when not in use. There is a control on the cord that can mute the microphone as well as adjust the headphone volume. The cord is also very long, but includes a clip for attaching to clothing or where ever else a clip may serve handy. This has been purchased not only by myself, but two of my best friends, and even by the local LAN gaming arcade for every PC there, and all have given it praise. For this value, you can't go wrong with the Plantronics headset, and I would recommend it to anybody.

Try before you buy!
The fit of this head phone is a little different than others that I have used. As you can see from the picture, it hangs over your ear. It does not fit very tightly against your ear. That lets the noise around me mingle with the earbud's sound so it is not very clear. The volume control you see in the photo can be used to increase the volume in the ear piece. The result for me was to make the sound louder but not more clear. The loose dangley fit never seemed comfortable to me.

The sound listeners hear coming from the microphone can be adjusted by sliding a micro switch to one of three levels. The highest level is not adequate for some phones and people I called had trouble hearing what I was saying. You need to try this headset with the phone you want to use it with. It will work well with some but not with others. You may want to consider the return policy of the seller and the shipping charges involved.

Excellent
This is an excellent headset.I do believe the quality of it depends on the quality of your phone too, as one reviewer said before me.On all my new'ish cell phones and home phones it has worked awesome, but a little lack-luster on an older portable phone.

This website has ALL replacement parts.. for $10 I got 10 of those black ear sponges, another metal ear clip,4 rubber ear sponges, and a bit more in a replacement part package.Oh, that includes shipping.

My experience with plantronics has always been the best... This headset (after testing $50 and even $100 sets from my office) still runs on par with them, keeping plantronics high in my book.I would also recommend the plantronics audio 90 headset for home use, I've used that for well over a year with no issue as well.

OK for the price but annoying
This is a good headset for the price, but it does have some major problems.First, I should note that I use it primarily with my cell phone, not with my cordless phone at home.When I have used it at home, I have found the sound to be fine.When using it with my cell, however, and particularly in the car, I find the volume to be too low.Even with the volume on the head set and on my cell turned all the way up, it is very difficult to hear over the sound of the car.By the way, my car is not that loud, and I have not had this problem when using other headsets.My other complaint stems from the little black sponge thing that covers the ear piece.They are FOREVER falling off in the car.Which, when you're driving, means they are lost to you until you can stop and look for them.Given their size and color, they might be lost for good.The ear piece is uncomfortable -- and the sound quality is terrible -- without the sponge cover.Bottom line:although the headset has been useful, I'm looking for another model that provides better sound quality and doesn't use those little black sponge things.

Comfortable, but lacks sound quality
I bought this headset to replace the bud that came with my Treo 300.It is a comfortable headset, but the sound quality was poor compared to the Handspring OEM.Some friends claimed they had a hard time hearing me, and I found I had to turn the volume all the way up to hear others.I eventually returned it and am still looking for a better replacement.

Good product until the EarBudeez wears out
